Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
Yes I did request that there should be no charge, because my car was not put back properly for the repair of radiator I was told that I would be charged for the part and that they would work on the labor costs, as per Brain I choose not to bring my car back to the business because they made my car unsafe and wanted to charge meClearly that work was not back up Yes I have had bulbs replaced in the past because the bulbs tend to go out from time to time and nothing like this has ever happened. My car just passed inspection prior to bringing it to Lee Myles, so I know for a fact my headlights were fine. The mileage and weather have nothing to do with the headlights not being properly secured to my car There was not ice chipping of my headlights because if I did that then they would probably have cracked.I don't drive over rough terrain, so I'm not sure why the mileage or the fact I had the car for month after the fact has anything to do with the headlights flying out.The simple fact is that the car was not put back together after the radiator repair and Lee Myles is not standing behind their work..
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above

On January **, 2017 we repaired this customer's vehicle, replacing the radiator. Almost exactly one month & about 1,000 miles of driving later she called, stating that a headlight had come out of the vehicle while driving. We expressed our concern & stated that we needed to...
take a look at the vehicle to see what had happened & see what we could do to help her out. The customer asked & insisted that whatever we did we would have to do for free. It is our experience that if there were any error in our workmanship then it certainly wouldn't hide itself for one month & about 1,000 miles of driving. This also occurred right after two major winter snowstorms & brutally cold freezing weather, we have seen customers damage their own vehicles chipping off snow & ice in the past. We have replaced no less than one hundred radiators in these vehicles throughout our tenure in business and have NEVER had a similar issue as what we are being accused of now. During our initial conversation with the customer she did mention that the headlight bulbs have been replaced many times throughout the life of the vehicle. The headlight assemblies themselves must be removed in order to replace the bulbs on these vehicles. This is a 2008 vehicle with over 100,000 miles on it & this is the only time that we have serviced the vehicle. We also told the customer that at most this repair would cost her roughly $225 plus tax (only charging for the part, in an attempt to help her), she then took it upon herself to have another repair shop fix the headlights for a cost of roughly $800. We tried our best to help this customer out of an unfortunate situation, but we were not given that opportunity.
