I did try several times to contact Eric and he never returned or took my calls.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, upon receipt of their check for $100.00 will consider this complaint resolved.
Regards,
We packed and moved [redacted] on January 6th, 2016. We received a call from her three weeks later saying she was missing some spices, sandwich bags, aluminum foil, ziplock bags, saran wrap, etc.
I called the landlord who told me that [redacted] had called her shortly after the move and...
told her to throw out anything that was left in any of the drawers. She said there were spices among the things that were thrown out. When [redacted] called me I requested that she open all of her boxes to make sure that the spices were not in some of the unpacked boxes. Instead of doing that, she sent me a letter demanding $150.00 for items she told her landlord to throw out. She never contacted me again after she went thru the unpacked boxes. We move over 600 people a year. Almost all people unpack their kitchen first, especially if someone has lots of spices, and cooks lalot. She waited three weeks to contact us. I think this person is not being fair. I will agree to pay her $100.00, after she looks thru the rest of her boxes. this would not have been a problem had she called me, as I requested, after she looked thru the rest of her boxes, as I said I would resolve this once that was done.
Review: This company moved my belongings from Sedona to Sun City on January 6. Some items which were contracted to be packed by them, were left at the house in Sedona. This was confirmed by Sedona Moving & Storage after they requested the phone number of the homeowner from me. I have since submitted a list of lost items and an estimated value of $150. Eric, the owner of this business, refuses to answer my phone calls, email or written request for payment. He did in fact get confirmation that these items were left behind so has no reason to refuse to reimburse me. Please help.Desired Settlement: I wish to receive a check in the amount of $150.00
