This company is owned and ran by Mike M[redacted] along with Clear Call Solutions. Both are now bankrupt. It's not a shocker as we had the displeasure of working with this man. He does not pay his bills, it's a cash grab. Avoid any company associated with this "gentleman". He's basically a Donald Trump want to be.....

I received information on Security Alarm Now in the mail. I called to get the price of installation. I was offered different types of incentives to have ADT installed through Security Alarm Now. I was told I would have $275 worth of incentives and it would be given to me by a VISA Gift Card to be delivered with 8-12 weeks.
My installation was done at the end of May, 2015. The day I received my installation I filled out the form and rebate papers and mailed it promptly. I have called Security Alarm Now on 3 different occasions asking where is my Visa Gift Card. Today it is 24 weeks later and I still have no gift card.
Security Alarm Now is stating they are putting me on a list to receive a check from the company but that has not been approved yet. Security Alarm Now is suppose to contact me when this is approved.
I will never ever recommend Security Alarm Now.

We have reviewed Mr. [redacted]’s original call into our sales department.  In our initial sales discovery, Mr. [redacted] informed our agent that he...

had an existing system, but that the system was more than ten years old.  It is common practice to advise customers with systems this old to update to a new system, which is what we recommended for this customer.  At that time, Mr. [redacted] stated several times that his existing system was more than ten years old, and had been malfunctioning.  He stated the issues with the existing system had led him to call about having a new system in place.  From the beginning of the sales process, Mr. [redacted] was fully informed that he was getting a new system rather than having the existing system activated, and he was enthusiastic about this.  Mr. [redacted] even asked about having the old, existing equipment removed from the home.  His system has been installed for 262 days, and he has never once called in to report issues with the new, wireless system.
We will reach out to Mr. [redacted] to attempt an amicable solution, however we have fulfilled every request that the customer made at the time he called for our services.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I do not accept this proposal because it's not accurate.  I have tried to check to see if the alarm was working in the past by calling and having [redacted] check it a couple of times.  I didn't think I needed to check it every month after they claimed they received a signal.  However on December 6. 2014 when my first time opening the door without silencing the alarm first,  appears to be the first time I realized my alarm wasn't operating efficiently after no one called me to ask if everything was ok.  When I called them I asked why no one called me and was told by the rep that she didn't know but I needed to have a repair person come out.  It had nothing to do with the motion sensor until the repairman came and I found out that the motion sensor could only be detected if you walked from the front door  down the long hallway, into the living room and stand in front of it on the far wall by the rear balcony door.  This is unacceptable since my alarm previously with [redacted] had motion sensors at the front door and would alarm immediately as soon as someone entered the door.  I don't believe a person would try to climb up a second floor balcony in the rear to enter my home when they could enter through the street level front door.  I have paid these people too much money already to accept one free month and would rather have a refund of the total months that were paid.  Also now that they corrected the sensors the alarm printing now mentions what door or window location is open.  It never did that before. If they will not accept my proposal I would like to disconnect their alarm.  I won't do business with people who don't train their people to properly install something as important as a security device.  I have a paroled sex offender attached to my townhouse next door and we do not get along.

I have been attempting to collect my three, $100 rebates from this company that were due to me in November. I have documentation for emails & calls and finally did a chat with the [redacted] for false advertising. I have been promised that my payment was being sent in the form of Visa Cards then it was an expedited check..blahblahblah...it is tragic! I was told that the company that was supplying the rebate cards was behind by $70,000. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS FALSE ADVERTISING! NEVER attempt to reach a supervisor, as they are no longer with the company. Please ask me for the emails and the contacts if you do not believe me. I spoke with a Customer Service Rep. today, that told me three cards had been mailed on January 7th only to receive a call from another Customer Service Rep confirming an address at 1:46 pm that said they were expediting me a check...when I told her that I had been informed three cards were on their way, she said that was not on her record. We will see if I receive the "second" expedited check!!

First, we would like to apologize to Ms. [redacted] for the delay in receiving her card.  Currently our company is experiencing a delay in processing the Visa Rebate Cards and we are working quickly to rectify the situation and ensure that all customers receive their cards in a timely fashion.
In an effort to expedite the process for Ms. [redacted], we have mailed a check directly to her home, in lieu of the Visa gift card.  The check was mailed from our office to her home at [redacted].  She should be receiving it within 2 business days. The tracking number for the check was emailed to her directly.
