Sales rep came to my house mid August and said I would get a free *** and alarm system for the rest of the year. Said the price would be $54 a month, which it was the first month , than jumps to $61. That was not told to me when I signed up. The Alarm system was installed that day, the tech said I would need the *** not *** with how my current doorbell is. Said he would order it and come back the following week. I reached out for almost 2 months to get it installed. The tech that came installed a *** and it doesn't work. So I contacted the company again, they mailed me a *** which doesn't work with ***. So still no doorbell for over 2 months. Have not been told when I will the *** installed. I have also asked for refund for the months I have been waiting and nothing.
Wow. OK. So we have called this customer over 30 times during this time period and she never answered. We have sent text messages. We have sent Emails. We even started sending a tech that lives in grove city to stop buy every night on his way home. We cannot reach this customer.
We would love to get your doorbell working, but you need to call us and schedule a time. We will not be refunding for the time that it has not worked because we reached out every single day for months.
Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: I haven’t received any calls or anyone stopping by. I have texted AJ & Zach but they keep saying the office will be in contact just never happens. The only email I received was thr contract in August. I have emailed them a few times with zero response. I have been lied to for months & still no resolution.
Regards
We have complained constantly about the same things over and over and they won’t do anything about it. They say a tech will maybe call to tell us how to fix it. We have told them we are not technically savvy, can they send somebody out. The answer is always no. We were told by Sky R (salesman) that they bought ***, our previous company. So I called *** they said he was a liar but by then we had signed up. Terrible service and lying throughout.
So sorry to hear that you are having this problem. We are calling you now to schedule a service.
Had the owner call me of this company and he was very rude and yelled at me multiple time over his emplyees mistake. Their call center will only have 1/2 workers at all times and the last time I called there the girl said “I just started here I don’t know what to tell you” they’re unprofessional
This is the Owner. Unfortunately she does not own the home and I am unable to keep the alarm system at this location. I offered this customer a full refund and for us to come get the equipment when we last spoke. I even offered to let her use the equipment while she went on vacation. I wish had a better solution, but this system should have never been installed.
I am completely satisfied with my security system! I got a very reasonable price for my system, and I researched a lot of other companies before deciding to go with them. I’ve found them to be very responsive to all of my questions and concerns. Would highly recommend.
On 9/1/2018 a salesman for this company offered to get me a better deal than the security company I am currently with. He made lots of claims about what he could get for me by switching, including being bought out of my current company's contract. It was not until he called his "boss" that I was told in the conference call my credit score would need to be checked. Moments later the boss says I was not aporoved. Later that day, I found out from Credit Karma a credit application was taken and negative report was actually submitted by this comoany to Transunion. My credit score got dropped by 1 point because of this. I feel the pitch for my business was misleading because no mention of credit was made till the end and it was not made clear to me I was making a credit application in the conference call.
Every alarm company does a credit check. You were aware of this before we pulled it. We are sorry that you did not pass. I think that if you did pass then this review would be different. Not sure why you would give a bad review for this.
I got your response today. I did not undergo a credit check when I signed up with my current security company 6 years ago. Your salesman did not have me fill out an application. Your salesman told me before the call he was confirming the contract buy out figure your company would approve. My point is at the last minute, during the call I was advised a credit score check was needed. I thought he was looking at my credit score, not submitting a credit application. For total disclosure this should have been made clear right from the beginning with the sales pitch. I would have shut the salesman down in the beginning. For your prospective customers this review will clarify that a credit application is part of your sign up process.
I've been working with a salesman for two weeks on a package and plan to put into my business. I wasn't necessarily looking for one but when they approached me I was willing to listen to what they had to offer. We ended up deciding after several visits over this two-week period on a four Arlo camera Wi-Fi system with two door contacts. They told me that since it was Wi-Fi I had to have Wi-Fi capable internet put into my store. I've been in this location for 9 months and I've never had a need for internet service up to this point. So I got with a different company and had internet put into my store, which again, I've never had before. I was told that once the Wi-Fi was put in it would only take a matter of a couple days before I would be able to have my camera system installed. The salesman came into my store on Sunday, but wasn't able to place the order because of the fact that it was Sunday and this Brinks dealer wasn't open so he came back this morning to place the order. He placed the order for the 4 camera system with the 2-door contacts at the quoted price of $34.99. The sales manager then contacted him back. So the salesman receives the information that that package is no longer available at 3499 and what it is now is $54.99. After about 15 minutes of him and I sitting here talking about the $20 increase he received another message saying that they no longer install the Arlo cameras in businesses, so we cannot do this order. So after two weeks of working with their salesman, when finally deciding on a package that I was willing to pay $34.99 a month for, having internet installed in my building to which I'm into for $60 a month now I'm told that this deal will not happen because the package is no longer available for that price and the equipment on the package is no longer being put into businesses. I am very upset at the fact that I was sold a bill of goods that caused me to enter into a contract for $60 a month for an internet contract that I have to have for a year, but I am now unable to get the security package that their salesman sold me. So I would recommend that if there's anyone out there that is wanting to deal with this company they think twice about it and end up deciding to go to a different company other than this one for your business.
It was a new sales rep that made a mistake. Our 2 camera package is $64.99 per month. This rep tried to sell a 4 camera system for $34.99. Obviously, we cannot do this. Our apologies.
I have had my alarm system for many years. When the power goes out, the system still runs. If the alarm goes off, the monitoring company calls within 45 seconds. Our plumber was working at my home when his home was burglarized. When he came back, the next day, he looked at my alarm system and placed an order. We would give Security Investments a 100% satisfaction score because we feel safe with their system.
Canceled alarm monitoring service. I sent a check to cover the balance of the contract. The business has not closed my accountvwith the monitoring service, has cashed my check and is not answering phone calls our messages.
We are the Installation Company. We have nothing to do with this. *** is the company that took the $25. I told him this. He needs to contact Monitronics to get back his $25.
October 14th, 2016 Santu C, from Security Investments, came to my home and said he was upgrading my *** equipment at no charge. He said this will not effect my account with ***. I signed off on the upgrade not aware I was signing a contract with Security Investments to do business with *** Security. Santu C did not inform me he was signing me up with a new security company. When I contacted the owner about the deceptive sales he fired Santu and stated Santu did this with all the new customers he brought in from ***. But he still honored Santu's contract of deceptive sales by keeping the contract alive. I no longer want to be in this contract with Security Investments.
Santu C owns a separate alarm company in Cleveland Ohio. He referred a few clients to me. He has worked with this client for years. This client stopped paying her bill and I personally called her and she said that she had been calling Santu for months because she was told that he would pay off her old alarm contract of $737.80. I was never told that she owed this money. I told her that I will absolutely make things right for her. We no longer at that time did any business with Santu. I told her that she has 2 options. Option 1 we will let her out of her contract and she can go back to her old alarm company or Option 2 I will write her a check for the $737.80 and she will stay with us for the 36 month contract. She said she would stay with us. I mailed her a check for $737.80 and she cashed it and still does not want to have a contract with us. I feel that she Stole $737.80 from us and I am currently using an attorney to make sure this lady never does this to anyone else. As far as her statements that she did not know she is changing companies and that she did not know she was signing a contract. She is not being truthful. We do a recorded call with every customer when we do an install. We ask certain questions to make sure that the customer knows exactly what is going on. We have her recorded saying that she understood *** would monitor the alarm system installed by Security Investments. She further confirmed that she was signing up for a 36 month contract. She also confirmed that her previous alarm company was *** and that she had cancelled services with ***. We also asked her if there was any money owed to *** and she did not let us know of that when we installed. We have installed over 7,000 alarm systems in Ohio and we were bound to find a customer like this eventually. We will not be taken advantage of or scammed be this individual. Our attorney will pursue this.
This response is untrue and insulting. The insinuation that I ripped off Security Investments is absured.
Santu C was an authorized dealer with ***. After interviewing Santu C on Real Estate Showcase TV and FOX 8, I decided to sign up with Santu and *** for a 3 year contract. After the second year into my contract Santu C contacted me and indicated that he had updated equipment to install free of charge. There was no referral to Security Investments. He never indicated this was a new security company or an new extended contract. When I signed the paperwork with Santu he said it was for updated equipment. During all my communications with Security Investments I was informed since that there was deceptive sales according Bill M that they would pay off my $737.80. This was also recorded. Never once did he mention I was under a new contract. The problem that I'm having is, the deceptive sales part of this transaction. I was lied to since day one and forced into another 3 year contract which I didn't want. I will not be taken advantage of or scammed by Security Investments. I am now forced to inform my viewers and Facebook followers of this deceptive sales scam.
Why would I give this lady $737.80 if she did not want a contract with me? That is absurd. I would have just let her out of the contract and kept my $737.80. I am attaching a copy of the contract, a copy of the check I gave her, and a copy of the recorded call.
