We first received a called from the merchant on 5/23/in regards to account closure. Our system is designed to log all calls and requests; We have no previous record of calls or requests to close the account. When the merchant called on 5/23/16, our service rep was very clear on our
policy and reviewed this with the merchant, in addition to providing the merchant with a proper close form with instruction of how to cancel their account. In an effort to please the merchant, SCS granted a courtesy waiver of termination fee as well as days in previously billed contractual monthly fees. SCS values all customer relationships and despite the contract terms, these courtesy waivers were granted for the better of service
