Secure Student Storage

Review: I've had four boxes in storage here at this company for a long time. I phoned them on Oct 5th (the conversations with owner Russell W[redacted] were tape-recorded) to inquire about having them shipped to me. I was told that, to save money, the boxes can be compressed into 2-3 boxes from 4. Moreover, I was told that the company could go through the boxes for me and toss out items I no longer want. They promised to get to me by October 8th with pricing. They estimated a maximum of $50/box. Unfortunately, Mr. W[redacted] and his associate Randy (who he had tasked with the work) went missing in action until I called and wrote to complain on Oct 17th. Today, October 20th, I was informed by them that the boxes (3 of them) were shipped yesterday and that the cost to me would be $244. They never gave me the opportunity, as they promised, to hear the fee in advance before deciding what to do.Desired Settlement: Despite their lengthy delays, poor communication, and the fact that they didn't keep their promise regarding advance notice of the fee, I'm willing to pay $50/box, which was their initial maximum estimate. Total: $150.
