The Applicant's had some issues applying for one of our units for rent. By the time they did the application the following day, we had reviewed, accepted a security deposit, and approved another Applicant. When the applicants boyfriend called to ask for a refund, they spoke with our receptionist(who...

has no authority to give refunds). All this was happening on Friday, and by the time it got to the Leasing Manager's attention, it was the weekend.  The Applicants had Alexus's number(Leasing Manager) but did not call her specifically to request a refund. We would have worked with them and in a timely manner. We stress that our Rental Units go very fast and it is on a first come, first serve basis. There is a clear misunderstanding.  Charges of $50 were reversed on June 28, 2015 and Applicant's were notified both by phone and email.
