They were wonderful. I kept getting denied because of my credit and I was losing money on application fees. They came thru and got me an apartment in a good part of Fort Worth.

My wife and I had to do the leg work and found an apartment on our own, and they wanted to get apartments outside of our budget We gave them.
I had to call the company they never called me to start the work and I used my debit card to pay for them to investigate and locate apartments for my family within budget.
I just asked for a partial refund and not a full refund nobody has $300.00 to give away
Mr *** reached out to us to assist him and his wife in securing an apartment. We went through all the documentation of what he could expect from us and what we would expect of him. He signed all the documents will the full understanding of our services.
We asked him to provide 4 apartment complexes that he would like to live. He put N/A. Since he didn't provide us with any preferred areas we let him know who we currently work with. He then told us that he couldn't afford them. We then asked again for additional apartments that we could reach out to on his behalf. He didn't provide any list.
We are not an apartment finding service. We work hand in hand with our clients in getting them into apartments that they choose. We don't receive any compensation from the apartments so we don't have any incentive to recommend one apartment over another. Again, we rely on our clients to tell us where they want to live.
I apologize if Mr *** somehow confused our services with Apartment Finders. We do our best up front and during our iniital meetings that we are not their personal apartment finder.
they run the business unprofessional, not returning calls.changing due dates 2 days prior& not & charging late fees not paying the complex
this company utilizes unprofessional practices . I signed the lease she promised to have the aprtment cleaned the nxt day she didnt. the chair was left in the apt. Also she refused to have the non working washer and dryer removed. I paid my rent on the 28th she paid my rent to the complex late and she tole them I would pay the late fees ( no I will not my contract was with SCR not the complex she told them I agreed to pay the late fees. I DID NOT MAKE THAT AGREEMENT) SHE ALSO CHANGES THE DUE DATE WITH 2 DAYS NOTICE . I HAVE MAY UNPROFESSIONAL EMAILS FROM HER AS WELL AS A VOICEMAIL WITH THE TONE OF A WOMAN WHO DOES NOT KNOW WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANS.
I MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR US TO SHOW UP TO TALK TO THE MANAGEMENT . SHE DID NOT SHOW . I CALLED HER AT 1:05PM SHE STATED SHE CALLED AT 12 AND THEY TOLD HER NOT TOO. SHE DID NOT EVEN HAVE THE BUSINESS ETIQUETTE OR OFFER A PROFESSIONAL COURTESY TO CALL AND STATE THE APARTMENT COMPLEX SAID NOT TO COME AND WE CAN CHANGE THE DATE
ALSO I WAS ADVISED THAT MY MONTHLY FEE WOULD BE 80.00 SIGNED A CONTRACT . ONCE I GOT IN THEY CHANGE IT TO 123.50.. MADE ME SIGN ANOTHER CONTRACT WITH THE EMAIL I HAD TO SIGN IT IN ORDER TO STA Y IN THE APARTMENT WHEN I ASKED IF SHE WOULD CALL ME TO TALK ABOUT IT .. SHE SENT IT EMAIL " NOT GONNA DO IT" REALLY I AM A CUSTOMER AND YOU ARE NOT GOING TO CALL ME ABOUT AN ISSUE.
I want to attach every single email that was sent to me. they claim to be a chirstian company but all they do is lie and prey on people
no one wants to complain because this is a second chance apartment and she had the ability to kick someone out based on her personal feelings. She does not know how to run a business on a professional level . she always blames people.
I paid my risk fee in June for the months of June and July they sent me a notice stating I was late I had to tell them no I paid it . they sent me an invoice stating that I did not pay them . I had to point out that their are 2 payments in June . she sent me an email that was not comprehensible with misspelled words and sentences that were out of context. I should not have to tell you and point out on your own invoice that you sent me the 2 payments that I paid early..
I have other proof I need to attach I am willing to talk to the media please talk to people at Tipton properties and Lincoln I am sure they will tell you that she is very unprofessional and vindictive in nature

Between all the misspellings and the random capitalization of words, I cannot comprehend her "story". She got her apartment and stayed in the apartment for 12 months. She made a random payment outside of an invoice and that was quickly cleared up.
Not sure the issue or the complaint unless it's that the apartment complex left a chair in the apartment. Don't understand why someone would want a refund because she asked to move in early before the apartment was fully ready.
We got her off the streets and into a very nice apartment. This was someone that was unable to secure an apartment on her own and was helped by us. The fact that she has a rambling complaint says more about her character than our process of helping her.

She is not telling the truth . I have attached her emails. which I had to tell her that I paid her every month she would send me invoices with late fees. I also attached the email where she was talking about Wrist Fees. the email is so incoherent I thought she was drinking. I had to email her back and tell her I did not understand it
I was not living on the street. I was living with family and a person on the street cannot afford a 1500.00 a month apartment and even if I was living on the street that is no excuse for bad customer service and sending people invoices with late fees when paid.
I only paid late two times as I told her my pay dates did not correspond with her payments and I would pay the late fees. which I did. She is the one who paid late and told the complex that I would pay the late fees. WRONG MY CONTRACT WAS WITH HER . TO PAY HER BY A CERTAIN DATE SO THAT SHE COULD PAY THE APARTMENT COMPLEX. I should not have to send emails to tell people that I paid them when they have invoices. Invoices that they evidently cannot read . If I have to point out that I paid them.
She has me confused with someone I have never lived on the street I am educated, and a model so she lied again. she truly does not need to run a business. I am sure there are other tenants that have an issue with her but are afraid to come forward for fear that she might get them kicked out of the apartment because of her Christian vindictive nature.
the first email is the voice mail about the non working washer and dryer that was in the apartment followed by more emails to show how she is unprofessional and does not know how to run a business and keep track or PAYING CUSTOMERS INVOICES . IT SEEMS TO BE AN ISSUE WITH HER WHEN CLIENTS PAY EARLY .

Your contract stated payments were due on the 15th of each month. By the way, I'm not a she. We upheld our end. You got an apartment. The real issue is that we, meaning me (a guy) refused to renew your lease.
Speaking of you always paying on time, you have an overdue invoice. My emails to you have always been professional. The contract you signed was for $123.75 per month. As explained by our website and in-person, we take your rent and divide by 12 to determine your fee. You didn't have to sign the contract.

Again SHe is lying the very first contract I signed was for 80.00 she told me it was 80.00 and that is what I agreed to then there was a 2nd contract emailed to me by her husband for the 123.50. If she made a mistake all she had to do was say so . Instead of hiding behind her husband as my first email stated..
The money is for the aggravation of me paying early and they would send me a a late fee notice and I would have to go through my emails to find the payment and send them back .. Just like the July invoice when they tried to send me a late fee and I had to go back and forth with them that I paid in June.She had her employee call me.to collect the fee and I told them I paid it
When I called *** after all the emails. All she said was yes you did pay and my employee made a mistake ( but where did the employee get the list from)
If anything there was always a 1 day grace period and again she didn't give a 30 notice that she would not be giving the 1 day grace period as you see by the email the date had the August 16 on the invoice not the 15th as she claims.
They have a bad habit of changing due dates with 2 days notice and when you ask them all they say is read the contract
I am starting to see a pattern with her. She says one thing but then its a whole other thing on paper. I see another one of her clients had the same complaint on here with the February Rent payment of her paying it late to the complex when we paid it on time to her paying the complex late and telling them that the tenant is responsible for the late fees ( no I paid you on time. If you pay late you need to pay the late fees. I guess she got so many complaints that is when she started making us pay the complex directly in April
And as you can see by the attached emails that she has been everything but professional. She was suppose to show up at the apartment to sign documents to get her name out of the lease. but she called them at 12 and did not even call me or provide me with the professional courtesy of call to let me know she was not coming . I missed a day of work. when I called her she stated that she called them and the manager was not in and that the manager wanted to talk to her about the contract and other issues. ( implying that the complex had an issue with me .
I called the complex and spoke with the manager and asked her were there any issues with me and if so what can I do to resolve them. She stated no there is no issue with you , we want you to stay. We have issues with Second Chance Rent that I cannot disclose to you and that is what we wanted to talk to her about, nothing about you.
I ended up getting the apartment in my name only and I don't have to deal with her or her nasty tone and condescending attitude . She didn't help me I paid her for a service . I paid her in full at the time of service. So no she didn't help me. I helped her business. I would never refer her to anyone.
but no client needs to deal with an unprofessional, unorganized and tacky business owners who doesn't know how to keep books or keep employees
they should not be in business and this complaint should stay on file because of the way she deals with clients and how clients are scared to deal with her

As for me moving in. I asked to see the apartment when I saw the apartment I asked her the apartment is dirty and the rugs need to be cleaned and the chair needs to be moved. She said she would do it . The apartment manager Ryan was with me at the time. He stated they do not clean or do anything when the apartment is being subleased. *** was suppose to have the carpets cleaned and chair removed the next day she did not. SO I had to delay my move by 2 days because she didn't get the guy over here to clean the carpets and she had to find someone to clean the apartment. She didn't even prorate the monthly rent I moved in on 12/6. ( I paid for a full month) also it was her responsibility to move the chair , but Ryan felt sorry for me and having to deal with her. that he was nice enough to have his maintenance guy remove the ugly chair
Even if I do not get any money I want this complaint to stay on file with all of her responses. I am filing more complaints against her and have. She needs to be investigated or have help with her book keeping if she cant keep up with people that pay early or on time
This is my final response I can not deal with shady business people and I hope this complaint helps people and I have no problem with them contacting me directly or even the news

I applied for the service to help me rent a apartment through the second service.
They kept giving me the run around from feb 2019 until May 2019 I paid half of the service money which was $600 for a 12 month lease and $300 for 6 month lease. They said it wasn't any 6 months so I had to go with the 12 month lease. So I'm May 2019 found 3 apartments the lady by the name Theresa *** Lost money from 2 of the apartments saying she use the money for fees. Which was $560 I gave her in money orders I also have texts between myself and Theresa of the whole time while going through the service June 15 was my move in date to June 20th saying the manager won't be in til the 20th I had to pay a double deposit had all of the money got of work early to meet Theresa at the apartments called he she wanted to reschedule the move in date after she told me I had to move in on June 15th. Theresa stop communicating with me I didn't move in the apartment and I didn't get my $560 back. Theresa told her boss I refused both the apartments and I have email s for that person as well I also emailed her boss the text message and never heard anything else from neither one of them

Tanya was shown several apartments and got approved. She then changed her mind several times on the move in dates. Because of the inability to decide on a move in date, the apartment could not hold the apartment.
We provided the service as stipulated in the contract. The fees were paid by her to the apartment complex are out of our control. The complex would have to refund that amount. We do not pay fees to the apartments on behalf of our clients.
Our last communication to her was on July 1st asking for proof of employment. As of 8/26/19 we have not heard back from her.

Because no I did not get approve for serval apartments I have proof of every apartment Theresa applied for it was always something else that the application was denied and I can't understand june 15th I had all monies ready to move in and Theresa start to make excuses about changing the date herself stating the manger was going to be there moving the date to June 20th so the same day June 15 I didn't get any response from Theresa.Jim *** ask me for proof of employment they have that on record. I told him at this point I only wanted my money back because their service is a joke gave me the run around and just plain out took my money all 560.00
The fact that she cannot spell my name pretty much says it all with this client. She appears easily confused and was never charged $560 for our services. We don't have a price point of $560.
She apparently misrepresented her income on our application and when asked to prove it then apparently decided she wanted a refund. Her application states that if there is any fraud on the applicant's part then the services would be ended and no refund given.
We have helped hundreds of people with great satisfaction. My advice to this person is to be truthful on your applications in the future
Unpaid rent with late fees plus risk fee.
I signed a contract December 28th for Second chance renting yo be guarantor for an apartment at Bridge Hollow in Fort Worth TX. Rent is paid to Second chance renting and they make payments to apartment complex on 1st of the month. This complaint is for the month of March. SCR sent out an invoice on February 26 for March rent which was a total of $995. I paid that invoice on Feb 26th with my debit card in the amount of $995. I then received a note left on my door by bridge Hollow apartment on March 4th stating rent was not paid and I was being charged late fees. Tried to contact Second chance renting and I was told it was taken care of and someone will call me back to confirm. Never received a call. I called and left several messages no one got back to me. March 12th I got an eviction notice from Bridge hollow due to the payment made on March 8th by second chance renting being returned for insufficient funds. Now they have filed for an eviction with the court and I have been trying to contact this company since Friday March 15 and no one answers the phone now. I got an invoice on March 15 for risk fee that was due on March 16th and I paid the $82.92 and have a receipt. Received another invoice on March 16th asking for another $82.92 and it doesn't show I paid but it was debited from my bank account. I would like a refund of my money for risk fees paid and rent plus late fees. I have called and emailed and no one responds
I would like a refund for my rent plus late fees and returned check fees. Also my risk fee that I pay for monthly and my $300 I paid when I signed the contract
These people were a life saver. I was living with friends and couldn't get an apartment because of my bad credit. I met with them and within a week I was signing a lease for my apartment. It is a great apartment in a wonderful neighborhood. Couldn't be happier with their services.
Great people. I was unable to get an apartment on my own because of bad credit and they came through. I was in a great apartment within a week. Highly recommend them
