Seattle Photo Booths

My husband and I signed a contract with Seattle photobooths months before our December 2018 wedding. We did not hear anything from this company leading up to our wedding so we took it upon ourselves to confirm timing/setup about a week before the wedding. We heard nothing from this company. After 15+ phone calls, 10+ emails, we still heard nothing. 48 hours before our wedding (at 11 pm on a Friday), the owner Matt called us saying his “phone was dead” which is why nobody answered for days. He never explained why nobody answered our emails or anything. At this point, we had assumed they were never going to show up so we had bought Polaroid cameras and films as our backup plan. We asked Matt for a full refund which he said we would be getting in the mail (he told us this over 6 months ago and we still have not received it). We are expecting him to never send us this check he promised us. Matt told us they went bankrupt, yet we clearly see they are still doing business and scamming other people. This company and the owner Matt L have withheld money from my husband and I that was promised a long time ago.

I ordered a photo booth a week ahead of time for my daughter's Sweet 16 party and paid in full, $860.00.

At 4:05 pm on June 7, the evening of the party, which was to start at 8 pm, I received the following email from Matt, the owner. He refused to answer my phone calls and refused to call me back.

It is my deepest regret to inform you that we had a last minute change with a third party vendor that affects our ability to provide a photo booth for your event this evening. After this was brought to my attention I reached out to other local professionals but was unable to find a solution.

Please expect a refund early next week.
