We are writing in response to the recent complaint filed with the Revdex.com (Complaint ID: [redacted]).
Response to [redacted] statement:
1. The reason why we had to issue temporary plates to our customer is due to a recall campaign made by Land Rover after the vehicle was...
already purchased by [redacted]. Before we can register the vehicle into [redacted]'s name, the recall campaign had to be completed in order for the vehicle to become compliant with US regulations. It took the customer a month to bring the vehicle back to us in order to have Land Rover complete the recall campaign. As a result we had to issue a third temporary plate until the vehicle was certified as compliant. As of then, the vehicle has been registered and customer has possession of the permanent license plates.
2. This particular vehicle was sold "AS IS" at time of purchase. [redacted] was offered a service contract as well as a GAP protection at additional cost, she turned the protection plan down. The purchase order did state that if the vehicle has any problems with the air suspension, we would perform a repair at not cost (no issues have been reported in relation to the air suspension). Additionally, after two weeks of ownership [redacted] stated that the sunroof and rear passenger window were nonoperational. As a result, we had the customer schedule an appointment at a third party repair shop ([redacted] in Bellevue). Both the sunroof and window were repaired at no cost to [redacted] ( this was a courtesy repair). Now customer claims that after three months the vehicle has transmission failure. Based on the purchase contract and legal documents Seattle Finest Motors is not obligated to make any repairs to this vehicle. As stated earlier the vehicle was sold "AS IS".
For your reference we have attached the following documents;
1. Purchase order agreement
2. "As-Is" Agreement
3. Receipt of courtesy repairs made by [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: The issue has been resolved, license plates were received. The rejection is due to the misrepresentation of timing for the recall repair. The car was taken for repair and recall replacement on February 26, within the same month of purchase.
No further action is necessary.
