I have been going back and forth about if I would write a review for this companyAfter thinking about it, I feel that I have to share my experience I will start with the Positive: When we first met with the owner it was a great experienceVery professional and it was a really good price that we were quoted so naturally we decided to go with them for our moving needsThe day of the move, things were made easy and we left the house while everything was being packed upThe best part was we got everything the next day! with it being a big move from Fort Mac to Airdrie that was really great! The day that things were moved into our house the guys were very nice, worked hard to get things moved in and were great with putting things where we wanted them The negative of this would be a few things that me and my husband are just not happy aboutWhen we left that day of the move we were told that the house would be lockedA friend went to the house a couple days later and the back door and the garage door were left unlockedThere was damage done to a screen in our living room window that we were not told about, I was sent a picture from my friend letting me knowWhen asked about this, The owner said that they did lock the doors and they didn't damage anythingSo no ownership on either of those things When I first met with the owner, I was told that the truck that will be used will just be for our things and no one else would have things in thereWell when they showed up, there was more furniture in the truck that they had to take out before ours was even startedNot that big of a deal, But it just would have been better if we were told about that up frontThis just make me uneasy about other things that I was told The biggest disappointment that we have is with other things that we are finding out as we goFor example, there was a bed that was put "together" in one of the rooms by one of the workersIt looked like it was fine, but as soon as I got on it, it fell apart, causing the headboard to go into the wall and scratch the wallAlso, we had a BBQ moved as wellWhen it got here we just told the guys to put it in the garage and we would take it out back once we are readyThere has been a cover on it the whole timeWhen going to take it out, we took the cover off and what we seen was horriblethere is a door broken off, one of the side burners is bent down, the whole body of it is twisted and it is no longer in working condition A big mistake that we made was not going through everything to make sure it was all good before they leftWe trusted that things were not damaged and put together correctly, but we were wrong to do soWe moved in February and its now MarchThey did not take ownership of the small things that happened so I can say for certain that there is no way they will for the big things If deciding to go with this company, they are nice and professional and a good price, but make sure you check everything before they leave your homeWe wish we had
Hello everyone, I just recently moved to Fort McMurray from Sherwood ParkI used one of the local companies to do the move for me and I would like to share my experience with Seasons moving I called the moving company and they took all the information over the phoneThe estimate was sent to me by email in less than 24h and the price was very reasonableI decided to go ahead and book the move with them and sent them a deposit of roughly 25% They showed up to my house in Sherwood Park one hour late but the driver had called me prior to notify me of the delay, I was impressed with their professionalismOnce they got to the house, they covered all the floors, doors and rails on the stairsThe driver, with a smile, walked me through exactly what they were going to do and asked me if I had any specific requirements or requests before they startedThey proceeded to wrap and protect every piece of furniture I hadBy the end, I had extra pieces to add and the owner said that it will be free of charge as "welcome to Fort McMurray gift", that made me really happy All my belongings were delivered to Fort McMurray in less than 24hOnce they got there, they covered all the floors and everything again and started to unloadThey reassembled all my furniture and bed sets and placed them where they're supposed to goThey didn't take any payment from me until the job was finished and once I handed them the payment, the driver pulled out his tablet and emailed me the receipt right away without me even asking for it In comparison to my last moving experience, it was a day and night difference, I would highly recommend Seasons moving to anyoneI am so happy that my first experience with a local company in Fort McMurray was amazing and worry freeI have also asked their team if I can take some pictures while the work was being done and share them with my friends Moving to a different city is stressful, I am very thankful to them for making this move stress and worry free
These guys are fantastic, quick and efficient They were very upfront about the costs, told me before booking about the minimum two hours and unlike other moving companies I have used in the past , there were no additional costs such as booking fees, etc Definitely the smoothest and most pleasant moving experience I had.I will definitely be using these guys for any future moves
I had them move my family from Edmonton to fort Murray and I could not get over the professional attitude they had from making sure all my belongings where wrapped and placed in truck with great carei would recommend them to any one who is in need of a moving company
