Resident moved out October 29th wherein we processed his Final Account Statement on November 5th which allowed the accounting department to issue a refund check in the amount of $130.36.  Upon notification that the payment had not been received by the resident, Senior Community Manager, [redacted]...

[redacted], researched with the accounting team to identify that (1) the payment had been issued (2) the payment had not yet cleared the bank and (3) the payment had not been returned to the accounting office.  Thereby, accounting initiated a stop payment on the original payment and issued a replacement check effective immediately on December 12th.  This payment is being sent to the resident's forwarding address via fedex standard overnight delivery with tracking #[redacted].  All information has been communicated to the resident via phone call as well as email. As for the claims of contacting the office numerous times and being told several excuses, the resident was directed to the Assistant Manager, [redacted], whom processes the Final Account Statements.  The resident spoke with [redacted] this past week and was told the payment had been issued wherein they agreed it must still be in the mail.  At no time did the resident state he was frustrated or ask to speak with anyone else. As for the claim of the deposit amount being $250, we were able to clarify to the resident that upon move in he only paid a Security Deposit in the amount of $150 which is the amount stated on his Lease Contract as well as the Final Account Statement.  We deducted his final water bill from his deposit upon move out however no further charges were found which left a total refund amount of $130.36. At this time, the resident has agreed to all items above.Sincerely,[redacted]
