Our doctors like to give each patient as much time as they need, especially since we are dealing with spine surgery
As the doctor explained when he called you on August 3rd, 2016 personally to apologize, we sometimes cannot account for staff absences and do our best to accommodate each patient's needs Our nurse practitioner was out sick on the date of the appointment where the doctor was running an hour behind, thus he had to see her patients as well We never overbook, and only double book when we have two providers in the office
That said, it is very difficult to know which patients will take minutes and which patients will take minutes or even an hour As the doctor explained in his minute phone call with you about this issue, in a gesture of goodwill, we are going to waive the two $copays that your insurance company deemed were your portion of the fees We will definitely use your feedback to improve the experiences of all of our patients, and have already implemented a system to advise patients when the doctors are running behind schedule Again, we apologize for your disappointing experience
