On 6/13/2020 I made a reservation for a two bedroom suite at Seascape Resort. Upon making the reservation I confirmed that the resort was following COVID-19 regulations so that my stay would be as healthy as possible. I was given false information by over 14 staff members over the course of one month, between 6/13/2020 and 7/19/2020. As a result I asked to speak to the management team. During this time, there was false advertisement on the website indicating that there was a free round of golf included with a two bedroom suite. However upon booking I was informed that this is not possible. Due to the false advertisement I was offered a discount for the false offering made on line.
I was told that pool reservations were to be made on line as a result of the resort "changing regulations to operate and follow policies and procedures. I was discriminated against and told that if I did not have internet access, I would not be able to secure a reservation. I once again elevated the matter to management who just informed me that there is no way to secure a pool reservation. I called once more to find out what I can do and spoke to staff named *** who told me that a reservation was no longer needed. However in speaking with *** he stated that the information *** provided was not accurate. Thus, the pool times and reservation slots were booked. I had to rearrange my schedule to book what was left of the pool reservations which was inconvenient as a result of staff providing inaccurate information and wasting time to reserve a pool slot.
I emailed *** who confirmed that the resort was following COVID 19 rules and she and other staff confirmed that maximum number of people in the pool is closely monitored and masks are required outside the pool area and it is by apt. only. Arriving at the pool, nothing was monitored, pool was over capacity, no social distancing or masks. I called the office and they stated they would send security but didn't. I was unable to use the pool at all.

Refund I specifically made this reservation due to staff stating they follow COVI-19 regulations and for purposes of using the pool. The resort not following COVID-19 regulations poses a health risk to me and others in the community. All information and advertisement is falsely stated on the website and by staff. I have pictures to prove that the resort is not following COVID-19 regulations. I am requesting a full refund of my reservation at this time. Attempts via email were made with no result.
Remainder of the stay was refunded on 8/7/20. Follow up call made to guest to inform her and apologize for the poor experience.
