I am in receipt of your customer concern ID ***. I am having a difficult time understanding what the actual concern is. I see some writing on the copy of the contract you sent me, above the in the size of the marker but I cannot tell what it says. As you can see, that
writing is not on the original signed copy of the contractWe measure the granite when it is brought in from our “stock yard” to match it against the contract. In this case, you can see the size near the upper left corner as 14x6xPFT BRP. PFT stands for Polished Flat Top. The BRP stands for Balance Rock Pitched(rough). The customer states that the product was to weigh pounds and it weighed over pounds. Is the customer stating they got to large of a marker? I would be interested in seeing what the actual marker does measure. I would bet that they got a little larger than the 14x6xthan they paid for. The sizes as listed mean inches left to right by inches front to back and inches top to bottom. The customer states that it was supposed to be flat. We do not display anything less than inches thick. inches thick is the most flat marker we sell. Anything thinner might break when a mower might go over the marker or over the test of time. Is the concern that the marker is too thick? That they got more than they paid for? As you can see from the attached picture of the completed marker, it has the “Bird from ***” as shown on the contract that the customer signed. The design *** was adjusted to delete the lightened area around the lettering area because there was not enough room for that panel, the lightened areaThe customer did look at a larger marker when she was at our store in addition to the marker she purchased. She did not want to pay the additional cost for the larger marker which was 18x8xwith a slight bevel on it. When the customer came to pick up the marker, after it was lettered according to the contract, she voiced concern about not getting the larger marker. She did not want the larger marker when she was in the store to make the purchase. She was charged, paid for and signed for the smaller size of 14x6xAs to the request for some money back, that could not happen in this case because the customer got what they paid for.
