Review: After purchasing our house in [redacted], WV, we had to purchase a washer and dryer which was not in the new house. We went to the store in our complaint and were convinced by the store employee to purchase the Frigidaire stackable unit for the reliability (they said). After approximately 9 months we had a service call as the washer vibrated extensively. The repairman said that the vibration was not unusual and that these units are made to be set on concrete (never mentioned when we purchased the units). The floor the set is on is hardwood. On the 24th, the washer door would not close (sensor indicated). When I checked the unit it there was a spring that had come loose (probably due to the vibration). I replaced the spring as best I could and the unit worked for a couple of loads then came loose again. On the 25th, my wife called the store and was directed to call sears which she did. She was told that a repairman would come to the house on the 28th between 8 and 5. On the 28th my wife called sears around 10:15 to see when they would arrive and was informed that the repairman was ill and would not be available until the 2nd. My wife, understandably upset for the delay and the fact that no call was made from sears to inform her that no repair would be made that day, complained to them. After the complaining, sears said they had made a mistake and the date changed to the 4th. We think they did that on purpose. My wife then called the store in this complaint. She talked to a person who said she was the manager and received no satisfaction. My wife asked for her boses name and phone number and the manager said she couldn't give her that information. After more conversation the manager said that her boss was the owner of the store Mark Kellog and that she would have to have him call as he only had his personal cell phone. As of 8pm no call was received. The unit cost $1900 on sale, is not even 1 year old and has had 2 service calls.Desired Settlement: The repair needs to be made at no charge. The issue with the vibration needs to be fixed so that the door does not malfunction again...
