Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Sears Carpet never even alluded to their supposed policy to come back and fix damages or 'redo' their workI never received a response from them in return of my phone calls and emailsI never set a follappointment with Sears Carpet (due to reason 2), nor cancelled oneSears Carpet was not truthful about the date or details in which an follow-up/return appointment was madeI would have accepted a follappointment had it been offered initiallyI had additional costs/damages due to the wetness of the carpet that they did not respond toI did not have another carpet company come back to clean (As they posted in their Revdex.com responseI has been waiting for this issue to be resolved with them.)This attached photo(Taken the first moment we came back to stay in our home, after days and the carpet was dry enough to walk onI vacuumed up debris that filled 16oz glasses.)I would have liked a response in regard to their employee rummaging through our bathroom cabinetI can send a copy of the emails I sent to them and evidence that Sears Carpet never responded(Note: The only way I got their email address is b/c someone in their phone center gave it to me, evidence that they directed me to send the email and wait for a response.) I hired Sears to clean my Air Vents and the carpetI was so surprised that different crews showed upIn my opinion I thought the equipment for the Air Ducts was impressiveMost other companies said they sent out only one van to do all the work.( which seemed fishy to me)The crew was in uniform and was pleasant to work with and answered all my questionsI ended up cleaning my air handler, which was an additional charge but the techs were up front on this cost and I did not feel like I was taken advantage ofI will certainly use Sears again, but only after a few more yearsThe techs taught me I only have to clean the vents every few years and not every year-which I think is nice
List of grievances: Carpet was damp more than days after cleaningIt still feels musty The carpet is more 'matted' that it was before the cleaningI had two properties cleanedOne man left with the van in both cases for about minutesI'm not sure whyHe left the other man behind who asked to used our bathroom (in both properties) w/in an hour of each otherI feel he was rummaging through our itemsIn my mother's home the bathroom was empty so he wasn't in there longIn my bathroom he walked out holding our toothpaste and asked "Where did you get this? I have sensitive teeth and I want some." (pretty peculiar behavior, right?!) While servicemen were in the home (after completing my mother's) they said their machine brokeThey cleared a clog and left the big ball of hair in front of our houseI don't believe the vacuum system/machine worked properly at my homeMy mothers was not wet for an extended period of timeAnd, when I went in to vacuum a couple days later, I pulled up very little dirtWe could not say in our home for days and nights after our carpets were cleanedThey were too wetWe left fans on and stayed with my sister for days(To be fair, it was humid and rainy for or of those days) When I vacuumed my home days later I pulled up TONS of dirt, hair and debrisMore than I have ever sucked up in my vacuum before(Note: our house was empty during this time, so we didn't track in any new dirt after your crew left)I filled a oz glass twice with hair and debris immediately after the company left (and after the carpets had dried, though we had not walked on them.) I took photosIt was disgustingCan you imagine filling a ouncer of filth immediately AFTER paying to have your carpets cleaned?? And the dirt was different than ever beforeHeavy, darker, and seemed like darker hairI'm happy to send photos of the glass full of dirt if you wishI was charged $for one job and $for the otherI'd wish to be refunded for both due to my costs, efforts and necessity to reclean (at greater costs) the carpets in my homeWill, Roberta, nor Steve every emailed me or called me backI emailed them times and called them at least timesThey even lied when questioned about the service when my credit card reached out to them and said they offered to fix the problem and I declinedPlus, the guy who came to our house to clean the carpet was creepy and bailed in the middle of the job twice(He said to get gas) I'd be happy to discuss this horrible company with anyoneEvery word is trueEmail me if you don't believe meDo not use thembeforedave (at) [redacted] ***
Sears cleaned wall-to-wall carpetWhen they were finished, there was a large grey stainI pointed it out and discussed it with the service manHe said they used expensive spot remover that didn’t workI asked about Oxyclean which he said would not workI decided to try Oxyclean myselfIt worked immediately and the spot is gone! I do not recommend their service because of their lack of attention to a removable stain and their untruthful description of Oxyclean
I am sorry this issue is still going on Mrs [redacted] had her carpet clean on 4-1- We cleaned rooms of carpet and she bought rooms of scotch guard carpet protector because she was happy with how it turned out After the job was done we spoke to her and asked her to walk through the areas we cleaned and look at it all and let us know how it looked She was happy with the cleaning We keep track of these calls they are called QED calls (quality every day) Our phone calls are tracked and recorded months later she called on 9-3-to ask for a re-clean for free and that she was not happy with the cleaning We told her we give the longest warranty in the industry at days Our competitors only give to days This call was months or days well past our warranty and we said sorry we can not do this We then asked why she waited so long and she said she was in the hospital for days after the cleaning and then went on vacation for weeks after that I stated well that would have still left you with another week and a half of warranty why didn't she call and she had no reason Companies can not guarantee carpet cleaning for months Carpet gets cleaned by some people every to months We are a very respectful company and we win a lot of awards for quality and we will go the extra distance to make people happy but I can not see how we can be expected to clean someones carpet months after the original cleaning Like I said all phone calls are tracked and we looked through our records and the first call back from her was 9-3- I am sorry Mrs [redacted] is unhappy but we have done everything correct in this situation and I hope Revdex.com sees this as well

come backThe first time Sears was notified is when the customer tried to get a refund on their credit cardSears found there was no grounds for a return on monies, again due to not letting Sears come and try to fix any problemsThe customer then bashed Sears on *** so the Corporate office contacted the customer to hear the complaintAgain corporate found No fault of SearsThe customer then called the office.( the attachment for taped phone call )***(crew manager) tried talking with the customer, but with no successWhen the customer starts cursing at us, it was time to end the relationship

I Hired Sears Carpet on Friday Feb 9th to clean my carpetsMy technician was Daniel DI have to say this was the best carpet cleaning I have ever hadI have kids and a dog that likes to use my carpet as her bathroomI was expecting the worst and that my carpet was ruined foreverDaniel arrived after a text message with his picture--which was such a cool idea------he did recommend some type of pet enzyme which did cost additional-BUT was well worth itAfter he left my carpet and house didn't smell like pee anymore!!!! TBH this far exceeded my expectation on how my carpet would lookThank you Sears and Daniel for such an amazing experience
Hired Sears for dryer vent cleaning of story condo for $178, 12/8/ Asked to sign their paperwork to start this workTwo Techs could not get on roof so proceeded to clean from ground floorTechs spent a lot of time going outside 'thinking about next steps', which was odd, but it ran the on-site time upI was told there was a clog and or a break in the vent itself and they would need to cut holes in the wallOK'd thisSmall holes were cut, but they told me they did not see breakThey were not sure what to do next They found nearby air vent which also contained dryer vent, so took the dryer vent apart and blew into this to clear vent Then I was presented a $bill I told them I did not see what they did--other than blow air in the dryer vent, which is what the $was forWhere, when and how was this vent break repair done? The $rate is just a promotion to attract unsuspecting homeowners to buy a much more expensive product I requested the $duct cleaning process and the technician refused to perform the service without me agreeing to the $upcharge to clean the hvac unit itselfComplete scam
Both Benjamin & Clint were at my home this morning and completely cleaned the air ducts in my home They did an incredible job and advised on things being taken care of in the future, making sure all was well They were wonderful and I can't thank them enough

when I try to book cleaning service online its show next day avaliblity but after you book the service I got call from sears after few hours and I been told next day service is not avalible in your area tommorrow ealriest opning we have ----- and its happend times

The worst experience and customer service ever! I had sears pick up my living room area rug last summer and they lost itFor weeks-lostThey eventually “found it” and then it was a headache getting it back from them, not being delivered when they said it would, etcThe whole ordeal took almost monthsI ended up buying another rug so when I got it back, it was wrapped up so I put it in my atticI pulled it out a month ago and opened it up and it was never cleanedIt wasn’t ever cleaned!!!
