Review: I received an email from SearchRegistry.org telling customers that they are at risk of a late fees unless their product is purchased, which of course is untrue. They are attempting to prey on people who have just registered an internet domain name but are unfamiliar with the steps involved. These are fraudulent business practices and must be stopped. Others have encountered the same email (see [redacted]). If this business cannot be located for enforcement, then the phone number and domain name must be shut down. I contacted eNom, Inc. -- who is the company who has registered THEIR domain -- with a complaint, but they have yet to get back to me. Others have reported this to them but they have failed to take action and shut down the domain despite scams running off of it. Failure to complete your domain name search engine registration by the expiration date may make it difficult for your customers to locate you on the web.
