We received a fax from Walgreens on 12/14/requesting a refill for glucose strips, which we approved and faxed back the same dayWe never received a request for syringesOn 12/22/the patient called our office and yelled at my receptionist saying we did not refill her syringes, my receptionist transferred the call to our M.A., [redacted] and the patient left a very profane message as [redacted] was rooming patients at that time, the message was left at 11:a.m [redacted] called Walgreens pharmacy at 4:p.mand spoke with Lenny at the pharmacy and refilled her syringes, as we had never received a fax from themShe then called the patient and told the patient that she had refilled her syringes, but did not appreciate the profane message she had left on her machineNo one in the office treated her inappropriately, she was very rudeThe problem (which was never a problem) has been resolved and in a timely matter
I am rejecting this response because: this is the worst office I have ever been toI asked for a dermatology consult at the time also and I didn't get that until I bugged them for weeks straightso after months of worrying if I had cancer again or not I finally got a referralThey do not EVER answer the phone impossible for Rx and referrals When you do go in for a visit it is a minimum of an hour later than your appt I am considering going to the AMA over this this is how bad the office staff is, and the Doctor I have never actually seen
