Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below We feel that we did business with Seacoast RV and regardless of who they used to fix the issues, they are liable The repair was done in December (which is a winter month) we used the camper the summer of about times and at that time realized the breakdown in the door - we stored the camper winter of and when we took the camper out for season - reported the issue - contacted Seacoast and kept following up with them for several months - it took me getting the owner on the phone to get a reaction and low and behold they were able to contact vender that same day!!Bottom line is, warranty aside, who pays $2,for a product and uses it about times, and it ends up being a dud or something - when you purchase or have repairs done by a company - they are liable if anything goes wrong and it should be their fight with the manufacturers, not ours, and they should stand behind the work - it is not our fault if they do business with someone who produces less tan quality products Regards, [redacted]
Our response is:In December of we did install a ramp door for the [redacted] On May 22, 2015, Mrs [redacted] contacted us to state that she was having a problem with the ramp door, particularly that it felt like there was no structural support left in certain areas At that time we contacted the company that we purchased the door from with no response from them We tried many times over a few months to reach them with no luck.In September we were able to successfully reach someone and they referred us to the company that they purchased the ramp door from That company subsequently stated that the door was out of warranty They stated that they would be willing to look at some photos showing what is the matter with it to see if they can try to get the door manufacturer to do anything about it.We sent photos and a video to both the manufacturer of the ramp door and the company that sold the ramp door to the vendor we purchased it from The manufacturer of the ramp door stated that the warranty was only for year, and they will not replace it at no charge They did offer to sell the customer a replacement ramp door at a deeply discounted price That is the last we have heard about this since that time.Thank you.***
