The following is my personal opinion from my personal experience:
I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Firstly, it is way too heavy on the drama. There are several people here (regulars, that have been here for years on end that aren't going anywhere) that are so hardcore drunks you have no idea what they are going to do or say if you happen to come across them.
Secondly, they run a very shady operation here. Buying/Selling boats, I have heard several people complain. They sell someones boat, fudge the paperwork, tell the owner it didn't sell, the owner shows up, sees someone living on the boat / new reg numbers on the boat, complains, gets paid. It seems to be normal here, I've heard at least 5 people this year say the same thing. Service work, overcharged beyond belief and the promised dates of work completed often pass by weeks not days with no explanation. You pay your bills when they come to you on time and when the owner is hard up for money he sends his staff to tell you that you owe more money for something last year or two years ago (i.e, winterization fee of $1700 did not include us disconnecting your battery, so we did that, and you owe us $50 for doing that, even though they never did it, and you removed the battery yourself)
If the owner is hard up for money, he'll come around crying to everyone and have his GM send emails 2 months early asking for winter storage fees due immediately.
Anyways, I've had a very bad experience here and I would advise anyone that asked me to never go here for anything, ever.
