To Whom It May Concern: On February 27th *** *** purchased a Dodge Ram Diesel Truck from Sea Auto Sales with the last six of the vin as stated : ***This truck was a local trade in and offered to Ms*** at a wholesale value because it is not the type of inventory we
normally carry(Dually Pickup)The truck was sold “as is” with no free work due or promised or implied warranties After purchasing the vehicle, Ms*** called in and asked if we could replace the brakes because she will be using it to haul and wants to make sure they are brand newSea Auto Sales agreed to replace the brakes free of charge as a sign of good will toward the clientShe later called in and said she was having some issues with the truck and was asked to bring the truck back in for diagnosisAfter quoting Ms*** for some services that were recommended (at a highly discounted rate) she took her truck to a different repair shop to get the said work doneSeveral days after notifying us that the truck was traded in, it was listed for sale again by said dealer at a substantially higher price point It is in my opinion that Sea Auto Sales acted fairly on Ms*** requests during and after the sale. Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: As stated in my original message we requested to know if the vehicle had bee modified in any way; we were told it had not been, and the condition of the vehicle after we purchased it was not what we expected or anticipated based on the verbal communication had with the dealershipAnd because the repairs of the truck were more than we could afford, even at their "reduced price", we had to trade it in with another dealership who was willing to get us out of it, which unfortunately put us into deeper debtThus, there is nothing that Sea Auto Sales can say to justify their actions or to represent themselves as a reputable companyThat truck should not have been sold to ANYONE given the issues with itNo one should have to put that type of money into a just purchased vehicleSea Auto Sales should be ashamed of themselves for their services and their pitiful response concerning this complaintSincerely,*** ***
