Review: I took my daughter's 4th generation ipod touch to San Diego Cell Repair on 11/26. It had a crack in the screen, but otherwise worked great. I was told it would be ready later that same day. When I went to pick it up, I was told it wasn't ready and would be repaired by the next day. It took them 2 extra days to fix the screen. I took it home and noticed the screen was not attached to the ipod and the ipod was not working. It would turn off and on unexpectedly and was draining the battery. I took it back to San Diego Cell Repair a few days later. I told [redacted] that the ipod worked fine before I dropped it off. He told me that its very difficult to repair the screen on this model ipod because these issues happen. This was not disclosed to me BEFORE he rapaired the ipod. But he did say he could repair it. I went back a week later. It wasn't fixed. He did give me an ipod to use while my daughters was being repaired. But after taking it home, it didn't work properly either. It was a 1st generation and was not compatible with any newer apps. I took the loaner ipod back 2 days later. I've gone back every other week since December (It is now April) and I've been given a dozen different excuses. Last I was told was that they were unable to repair it at this location so they shipped it to their other location in Calexico. I've sent emails to the owner [redacted] asking for him to fix the ipod or replace it with the same model. He has not responded. It appears to me that following through with their word and offering good customer service is not a concern of theirs. They have lied and made excuses to me every time.Desired Settlement: My first choice would be that they repair the ipod. But, it has become apparent to me that because it has been 5 months since they have had my daughter's ipod that they are unable to repair it. I am requesting that they provide us with either $189.00 to replace the ipod or give us a replacement ipod of the same model in good working condition.
