Review: I, accompanied by my girlfriend, took my vehicle to Scrub Boy Car Wash, at its Broadway St. Location. While my vehicle was in the possession of the car wash it had some major damage done to the wheel and tire. The wheels metal lip was bent in many places, and the tire developed a bulge. As a direct result of the damage caused by Scrub Boy Car Wash, a wheel and tire needs replacement. Mr. [redacted] has not reimbursed or made any attempt to do so for the damages caused by the Car Wash.Desired Settlement: I would like full reimbursement of my insurance deductible, which totals $500.

We claimed it was impossible based on the circumstances for the damage to occur at our wash. After providing the facts to [redacted]. and their subbrogation division, they agreed and closed the file. We have since been yelped, threatened with this complaint as well as small claims court by this individual. We are reputable business people with a very strong reputation. His car was in a line of cars and was moving one car at a time for approximately 30 feet. He and his girlfriend had left the premises. My service writer saw the damage prior to the car being washed, but the customer had left..When my Manger tried to approach them upon return, they immediately said we did and they were calling their insurance company saying we were going to pay. The damage plain and simply could not have occurred at our facility and their insurance company agreed.
Review: I TOOK MY MERCEDES TO SCRUB BOYS FOR A CAR WASH. I WATCHED AS MY CAR WAS DRIVEN INTO THE WASH FACILITY, THE WASH TECH PULLED MY CAR INTO THE AUTOMATED DRIVE SYSTEM INTO THE WASH. JUST AS HE CAME TO A STOP THE VEHICLE IN FRONT OF MINE (A FULL SIZE S.U.V. WITH TRAILER HITCH) CAME TO A STOP AND THEN BACKED UP AND CRASHED INTO MY FRONT BUMPER. [redacted] WAS THE MANAGER THAT DAY AND TREATED ME VERY NICE AND GAVE ME DOCUMENTATION THAT SCRUB BOYS DAMAGED MY VEHICLE AND WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT. I SPOKE WITH [redacted] LATER THAT WEEK AND HE STATED THAT HIS BOSS (THE OWNER OF SCRUB BOYS) WANTED AN ESTIMATE TO REPAIR MY CAR. I GOT AN ESTIMATE FROM A LOCAL BODY SHOP AND FAXED IT TO [redacted]. HE THEN CALLED AND STATED THAT HIS BOSS DID NOT LIKE THE PRICE AND TO GET TWO MORE ESTIMATES, I SPENT MY MORNING GETTING MORE ESTIMATES AND FAXING THEM TO [redacted], ALL THREE ESTIMATES WERE VERY CONSISTENT. [redacted] TOLD ME TO GO AHEAD WITH THE REPAIRS AND THAT SCRUB BOYS WOULD PAY BASED ON THE ESTIMATES. NOW SCRUB BOYS WILL NOT PAY AND [redacted] TOLD ME HE DID NOT WAN'T TO GET IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS AND THAT I SHOULD TALK DIRECTLY TO HIS BOSS. I HAVE ASKED [redacted] TO HAVE HIS BOSS CALL ME WITH NO RESPONSE. I HAVE COPIES OF ALL ESTIMATES AND DOCUMENTATION FROM [redacted]Desired Settlement: I JUST WANT TO BE PAID FOR THE DAMAGE THAT WAS DONE TO MY VEHICLE. I DONT HAVE THE NUMBERS WITH ME NOW (THE PAPERWORK IS ALL IN MY OFFICE AT WORK) BUT IT IS APPROX. $900.00

[redacted] did get three estimates all consistent in price and the last communication was that he could have us pay the body shop directly, get it fixed himself and we will reimburse him or if he just wanted a check we requested he sign a liability release. Then he stopped communicating with us. We never heard where he was getting the repair done or if the repair was done. We have tried to contact him by phone as recently as a week ago with no response. We don't know the amount or who to pay. We now have an email address and a personal address and will try to contact him using that information.
