Scrub-A-Dub Wash 'N Lube - Cudahy

My [redacted] was taken in for an oil change at Scrub a Dub wash n lube, they then recommended that I get a transmission flush from the computer system at every 60,000 miles at the time I had 67,000 miles on the vehicle and this was on the date of 8/07/12. I paid them a total of $148.02. Within 4 days of getting the service my car would be in gear either drive, or reverse etc and it would not engage, then kicks in and jerks my car. My car was then taken to Accurate Transmission Specilaists and the following codes stated that the gear ratio 2/loss of pump prime/malfunction after shift and cat efficency bank 2. I was informed by this company that they never do, or recommend transmissions flushes because they can mess up the transmission itself, and to get the repairs will run me between $1500-$1800 depending on the damages. Went back to Scrub a Dub spoke with the same gentleman that recommended the transmission flush, I explained the issues with my car he then stated that they just call it a transimission flush but they don't actually do them because they can cause damage to the actual transmission itself. The general manager [redacted] was then spoken to and stated that back yrs ago it would cause damage but they use new equipment now and it's highly unlikely that it caused damage to my transmission, he also then had his insurance guy call by the name of [redacted] also. The possible damage that could happen to the transmission was never discloused to me before the work was performed and now I'm stuck with damage to my vehicle that wasn't happening before the service was performed.
