Here at Scottsdale Medical Center we take all concerns/complaints very seriouslyOur third party, independent billing company deals with each case individuallyWe did in fact have computer issues that ended years prior to this complaint, and all of those issues have been
resolvedThis particular case had many self induced and well documented errors 1) Patient did not provide us with a secondary Insurance to bill2) Patient did not keep us up to date on their current address, resulting in numerous returned statements3) Patient did not respond to the billing statements that were mailed out monthly, after the case had settled In 04/4) Patient did not submit billing statements to their attorney prior to the case being settled, which resulted in medical expenses being the patients responsibility, per attorney,
5} When the case settled, the patient was paid directly, per their attorney6) Scottsdale Medical Center has yet to receive ANY payment for services,
7) The complaint states that the patient had Aetna at time of treatment, but our records do not reflect that informationWe spoke with the patients' husband in June in regards to the outstanding balance, at which time we offered them a good faith and financial support discount of $The patient never responded to any of the statements going forwardTherefore, we fill as if the complaints are not justified and if they would have just called the office our staff would have been more than happy to work with the patient In regards to the balance, just like we do for many of our other patients by offering them large reduction amounts or set up payment arrangements to further assist our patientsTo the Revdex.com,
We treat every one of our patients as family, and are eager to help them in any way we are able toThis patient was seen numerous time.s and received appropriate medical care, those of which we never received any payment forThe patientreceived payment directly from the settlement and has neglected to contact our officeNow nine months after our last conversation with the patient they file a complaint against us with the Revdex.com with a settlement offer, instead of contacting our office directlyIt appears that the patient is using your services and a threat of a complaint as leverage in their bargaining power to reduce their billI do not think that is what the Revdex.com was intended to be used in this mannerIn good faith, if the patient is honest and can provide us with proof of Aetna Insurance that was active prior to the Initial date of treatment, then I will except their desired settlement of an additional 85% reduction ,on top of the already discount of $450, and only hold the patient responsible for 15% of the total charges

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Here at Scottsdale Medical Center we take all concerns/complaints very seriously. Our third party, independent billing company deals with each case individually. We did in fact have computer issues that ended years prior to this complaint, and all of those issues have been...
resolved.
This particular case had many self induced and well documented errors ...
1) Patient did not provide us with a secondary Insurance to bill.
2) Patient did not keep us up to date on their current address, resulting in numerous returned statements.
3) Patient did not respond to the billing statements that were mailed out monthly, after the case had settled In 04/2012.
4) Patient did not submit billing statements to their attorney prior to the case being settled, which resulted in medical expenses being the patients responsibility, per attorney,
5} When the case settled, the patient was paid directly, per their attorney.
6) Scottsdale Medical Center has yet to receive ANY payment for services,
7) The complaint states that the patient had Aetna at time of treatment, but our records do not reflect that information.
We spoke with the patients' husband in June 2013 in regards to the outstanding balance, at which time we offered them a good faith and financial support discount of $450.00. The patient never responded to any of the statements going forward.
Therefore, we fill as if the complaints are not justified and if they would have just called the office our staff would have been more than happy to work with the patient In regards to the balance, just like we do for many of our other patients by offering them large reduction amounts or set up payment arrangements to further assist our patients.
To the Revdex.com,
We treat every one of our patients as family, and are eager to help them in any way we are able to. This patient was seen numerous time.s and received appropriate medical care, those of which we never received any payment for. The patient. received payment directly from the settlement and has neglected to contact our office. Now nine months after our last conversation with the patient they file a complaint against us with the Revdex.com with a settlement offer, instead of contacting our office directly.
It appears that the patient is using your services and a threat of a complaint as leverage in their bargaining power to reduce their bill. I do not think that is what the Revdex.com was intended to be used in this manner.
In good faith, if the patient is honest and can provide us with proof of Aetna Insurance that was active prior to the Initial date of treatment, then I will except their desired settlement of an additional 85% reduction ,on top of the already discount of $450, and only hold the patient responsible for 15% of the total charges.
