Scott's Porsche Service & Parts Reviews (4)

Review: I am filing this complaint against "Scott's Porsche Services and Parts" as the owner, [redacted] scammed me for a substantial amount not rendered to my vehicle. According to Mr. [redacted] and the shop's website, they specialized specifically on European Vehicles. Because I was convinced by the owner via telephone that they were knowledgeable on Mercedes Benz, I decided to have my 2007 Mercedes Benz C230 repaired at that shop. In addition, Mr. [redacted] ensured me that only MB parts would be utilized for my vehicle and verbalized the advantage of having a "good buddy" who managed the Parts Dept at the Mercedes Benz Dealership as this enabled him to receive discounted prices for parts. He and a former employee [redacted] continued to lie about my vehicle to add expenses and began threatening me towards the end of our business relation. Mr. [redacted]'s behavior became so aggressive towards the end of our business relation that I decided to have a police officer assist me on their premises. During my time of business with the above shop, I was mainly communicating with [redacted] however he was arrested on their premises for embezzlement per Mr. [redacted] . The owner continued to claim that the part required to repair my vehicle was ordered with Mercedes P&S Dept which was the cause for delay. After several weeks of claiming MB P&S was the reason for the delay, I called the Dept myself and spoke with his "buddy" the Mgr ([redacted]). He claimed he knew nothing of the above order and denied conducting business with Mr. [redacted] although knew him from high school. My vehicle was DRIVEN to the above shop on 06/03/13 for repair and TOWED from shop on 07/31/14. I received it in worse conditions with generic parts stored on the back seat. My vehicle was then towed to the dealership for service where it was repaired and took a couple days.Desired Settlement: A demand letter requesting for a refund of $1363.37 by 07/15/14 to avoid legal action was mailed on 06/03/14. I received a call from Mr. [redacted] 06/04/14 and he stated "he would work something out with me" but would consult with his attorney and will call me in a couple days. A phone call was never received. I placed multiple calls and left messages to Mr. [redacted] on and after 07/15/14 for a follow up prior to submitting my claim as indicated. I still have not received any calls.

Review: Next week it will be three months the owner of Scotts Porsche has been working on my Discovery 1995 Land Rover Discovery. These last two weekends he has told me my car would be ready to be picked up and clearly was not. Each weekend I called and left a message. I did not receive a return call which I believe he had the professional responsibility to do so. Upon receiving my letter by certified mail whereby I stated I was disappointed with his lack of service and was interested in his business covering the cost of a second part he stated the car needed, he decided it was time to make a phone call and leave a message . This evening I received the most almost entertaining slew of excuses by a mechanic. I was informed by the owner/mechanic he had a heart attack 5/29th and was just released yesterday. He also stated his son was at the place of business...so as to relieve himself of any responsibility as to the obnoxious phone skills...I know it was him. Our voices are as unique as our fingerprints. He also said rats at my place chewed the cars wiring, that the car is so old that Land Rover Co. no longer carries this model in its system, and that every time something is fixed a new problem comes up. He went further on stating that there is never a time limit on a contract. I believe 2 months 3 weeks is more than enough time and my patient has run out. I have checked on [redacted] and there are many complaints about this mechanic. Previous clients have experienced the same antics by this individual. Enough is enough and the owner should be prohibited from doing any more harm to other hard working law abiding professional citizens.Desired Settlement: I want my Land Rover returned to me within this lifetime (30 days according to the Revdex.com) and I want Scotts Porsche to cover the cost of the second part and installation as a courtesy to me for having to deal with such deplorable business shenanigans.
