Regarding customer [redacted] - We did multiple repairs and were trying to match paint on a Dodge truck that was very harshly maintainedThis vehicle was purchased from an auction and was a former company truck The vehicle appeared to have previous repairs and paint work We were not 100% satisfied with the first paint job we did and happily volunteered to repaint the repaired panels We choose another paint brand to attempt a better match of a very oxidized finishWhen Mr [redacted] picked his vehicle up the second time he stated he was pleased with the 2nd paint job and we heard nothing furtherWhen any job leaves our shop we always tell them if there are any questions or concerns to give us a call We heard nothing further At this time we would be willing to try to blend the other adjoining panels to try and create a better match His price quote was not to paint the entire truck for perfect matches It is hard for someone not in the repair business to understand how hard it is to match weathered finishes We are not willing to refund any moneys The parts and materials for this repair were close to $ I believe this individual is attempting to get his repairs for nothing, we have been very cooperative with him thus far We have an outstanding reputation in our same location now for yearsThank you, [redacted] dba Scotts Paint and Body Shop LLC
Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[I hope that this complaint is an example for others to view so they don't make the same mistake I did in choosing Scotts Auto Body and Paint. I have worked in skill trades for years and do have an understanding for what it takes to make it right and put effort into the project I'm working on. I understood going in that the paint might not match perfect but that is really big issue. The quality of work is very poor and what makes this worse is that I think it looks worse after I had them repaint the truck. Auto body and paint takes great detail and effort to make it look great and this shop doesn't put the effort in as you can see in the images on the PDF. The truck was purchased through a dealer that bought it at an auction but many cars are bought and sold like that today. ]

Regarding customer *** ***- We did multiple repairs and were trying to match paint on a Dodge truck that was very harshly maintainedThis vehicle was purchased from an auction and was a former company truck. The vehicle appeared to have previous repairs and paint work. We were
not 100% satisfied with the first paint job we did and happily volunteered to repaint the repaired panels. We choose another paint brand to attempt a better match of a very oxidized finishWhen Mr*** picked his vehicle up the second time he stated he was pleased with the 2nd paint job and we heard nothing furtherWhen any job leaves our shop we always tell them if there are any questions or concerns to give us a call. We heard nothing further. At this time we would be willing to try to blend the other adjoining panels to try and create a better match. His price quote was not to paint the entire truck for perfect matches. It is hard for someone not in the repair business to understand how hard it is to match weathered finishes. We are not willing to refund any moneys. The parts and materials for this repair were close to $1000. I believe this individual is attempting to get his repairs for nothing, we have been very cooperative with him thus far.
