July 2, Dear Revdex.com Personnel:This letter is in response to your letter dated June 24, which stemmed from a customer complaint.It is our understanding that the customer's bumper had been damaged prior to entering the car washThe customer informed us that he was rear ended a couple of years agoWith that kind of accident and It not getting fixed, clips that hold the bumper in place may have loosened which could have compromised the bumper's integrityWe have a policy of not fixing existing damages to a car.Sincerely,

To whom it may concern,In reviewing this complaint once again with the owner and managers, the following caused us to feel we are not responsible for this damageThe customer reported the damage the day after he/she stated the incident occurredThe security cameras were reviewed, and nothing was foundThe car wash was searched, and no pieces showed upAccording to the customer, the antenna was smashed, and there is no equipment in the car wash that could produce this type of damageMost cars today have a roof mounted satellite radio, we have had no other issues with XM antennas.Here at Scott's Car Wash we promptly handle any situations caused at our car wash which were factory installedWe strongly feel that the damage was not caused at our facilityTherefore, we stand by our decision to not replace the antennaBarbara D

I am rejecting this response because: I reported the damage the next day, because I got my car washed the evening before,and noticed the damage the next day.Just because there wasn't a piece found, doesn't mean it didn't happen.I said the antenna was broken, I didn't use the word smashedThe equipment did do this damage.Scotts may not have had other reports, but that is not a reason to not fix my car.The manager was ready to help, until he seen the estimateHe said, I am not going to pay that much, but I will give you free washesFree washes does not fix my antenna.The sign says Will fix all factory partsnot Will fix all factory parts if piece is found, or if others have complained
