[redacted] asked what it would take to 'fix this' and I said that I wanted a refund of my $1400 or I would pursue my complaint against him to the Arborist Association which issues his license, and that I would go to small-claims court. As of today, June 9, 2015 I have not received a check from him.

Review: In Jan. 2014, Scott Services and I agreed on the price to remove 5 trees, grind 5 stumps, clean-up all debris and haul away. Because there was snow on the ground, the Scott site representative and I discussed and agreed that Scott Services would return at a later date (at my convenience) to grind the five stumps and haul all wood chips away. All I had to do was call Scott Services and arrange for a return date. The contract I signed, stated all the above detail including their return at a later date to complete the job just as we had agreed. I paid Scott Services for the falling of the trees, and as agreed, I would pay them for the stump grinding when they returned. I have tried several time calling them to arrange for their return, as well as e-mailed them. I have not heard from them. If they were not going to grind the stumps, I would not have entered into a contract with them to do any work. They have not fulfilled their obligation as stated on the signed contract.Desired Settlement: Scott Services should return to my property, grind the five stumps, clean-up all debris as discussed and agreed on for the contracted amount.

Review: I contracted with [redacted] of Scott Services, LLC to cut down a tree on my property, which his crew did. Included in the contract, which was signed by [redacted], was a charge of $125.00 to grind out the stump of the red oak tree that his crew cut. After the tree was cut and other trees were trimmed as requested, it was late in the day on a Friday so [redacted] requested that I pay him so that he could cash the check and pay his crew, which I did. He told me that he would have someone return the next day to do the stump grinding and so far no one has returned to perform that work. The tree was cut down on April 24th and I have emailed [redacted] and both my wife and I have left voice messages for him on the number that he had on his business card, which is [redacted] and there have been no responses to those communications nor a completion of the contract, which he has been paid for.Desired Settlement: I would like to have someone from [redacted] crew return and do the stump grinding that was part of the total job. If that is not possible, then a refund of the $125 portion of the payment to cover the stump grinding would be a satisfactory second form of resolution.

Review: Hired Scott Services LLC to cut down tree on 9-15-2015. He was supposed to complete job on Friday Sept. 18th. He did not come, did not call. Took my deposit check of $1,300.00 and has not returned to complete job.Desired Settlement: Return my deposit amount of $1,300.00 we will hire someone else!

Review: Scott Services took down 2 trees, hauled away the wood and ground the stumps for me on 12/18/2013. One was a dead white oak, the other was a Gum ball tree in the front yard. They have charged me multiple times for that service - 4 times in 12/2013 and 3 times in 1/2014. I have called to talk to them about it - they do not call back. When the extra charges appeared in December, I called the employee who actually did the service and he said they would take care of removing the 3 extra charges. When I checked my credit card statement in January, instead of the 3 extra charges being removed, 3 more charges were made. I disputed the charges with the credit card company and Scott Services agreed that the 3 extra charges in December were invalid but claim the ones in January are valid. They did not perform any services for me in 1/2014. They only performed services ONCE on 12/18/2013.Desired Settlement: The ONE charge on 12/18 is valid. I want all other charges from Scott Services removed from my credit card

Review: Signed contract on May 5, 2015 for tree removal. 50% deposit in amount of$1400 was given by check.
[redacted] said that the tree would be removed the next day but he never appeared.
However he left his truck with the wood chipper outside out home for 7 days creating hazardous driving conditions for our neighborhood. Numerous phone calls and emails sent with absolutely no response.
After a week some men showed up to removed the truck but they left a dead tire in the ditch outside our house.
The tree stumps from the initial work I contracted for have also not be taken care of to my satisfaction.Desired Settlement: At this point I do not trust [redacted] to deliver his services in a timely and proficient manner. Refund in full of the$1400 as per signed contract -

Review: I contracted with [redacted] Scott of Scott Services LLC to remove a pine tree, grind out stump and remove all debris. After the tree was cut, he advised his stump grinder was broken but he would be back Friday, 11/28 to remove the stump and repair the damage done to my lawn. No one came on Friday. Sunday, 11/30, I left a message questioning why it had not been completed. That call was not returned. I called Monday 12/1 @ 9am and left another message. At 10:30 I called again, advising if I didn't hear from him, I would have no choice but to file a complaint with the Revdex.com and [redacted] He called back within 10 minutes and said the part for the stump grinder had come in and was being repaired. He assured me he would be there Tuesday to remove the stump and clean up and repair the lawn. He never came. I've called numerous times 12/2 and 12/3. He has not returned my call.Desired Settlement: If he can not finish the job this week, refund $175 of the $775 I've paid and I'll find someone else to complete the job.

Review: I signed contract to have trees cut down. The large tree was on my property and my neighbors property. We were to share the expense. My neighbors changed their mind and did not want the tree taken down. I contacted the owner that very same evening and told him no work would be done. I was pressured to make a down payment and was pressured to have the work done in the next day or so. I wrote the check and he cashed the check after I had cancelled the check. He robbed me of my money and no services were done or will be done by his company. I have called many times and left messages; he does return my calls. I have sent an email and contacted them via the website. No response.Desired Settlement: The check was in the amount of $1850.00 and I want my money refunded. No work, no services! I cancelled the contract within hours after I signed the contract and wrote the check. I want to know why he cashed the check and took my money when they did no work nor will they ever do work for me.

Review: This company damaged my irrigation system just after I had the spring start up done with an irrigation company. [redacted] tried to repair it but it is still broken. They damaged my fence, left a huge oil spill from their equipment on the neighborhood street, oil spill killed my grass and left unsightly stain on street, damaged the top of another tree, left a huge stump that should have been cut to almost ground level, took additional 700.00 in cash to cut another tree and never did the job, and did not clean up all limbs. They did not finish the job and have made excuses for not returning. They are now not returning calls and texts. Gave them a month to complete the job and it is still not done. Just recently looked up other reviews on this company and they all stated the same experiences.Desired Settlement: Refund me my 700.00 AND pay me for the repairs to yard, street, irrigation system, fence and for having another company finish the job especially the large stump that was not cut to ground level. I do not trust these people and do not want them on my property.
