In regards to the complaint filed, I would respond as follows:
I do not represent the complainant,
however I was retained by her boyfriend to represent him in regards to a contempt proceeding filed by the Noble County Prosecutor's office
My client was being charged by the Prosecutor for failure to pay his support arrearage owed to the mother of his child
My client also claimed that he had previously "signed away" his paternal rights to said child
My services were to represent him in the contempt proceeding and to detelinine if such a waiver of paternal rights existed
I contacted and negotiated with the Noble County Deputy Prosecutor and as a result said contempt proceeding was terminated
The Prosecutor's office also verified that they had no record of any waiver
My services involved meeting with the client, contacting the Prosecutor, and researching and investigating alleged paternal rights waiver
My hourly rate is *** and my time involved in this case exceeded the amount paid by my client
