I found myself in a bad situation and needed an experienced attorney who truly understood the criminal law statues in Arizona...after my detailed research, I found Atty Scott Maasen...He came highly recommended and I couldn't be happier with my choice. My case was resolved with very favorable results...As a business owner myself, I do look at reviews and understand that you can't judge a book by its cover, but by their track record...I'm too a victim of a couple poor reviews posted by my competitors but my track record speaks volumes on how I handle my business, just like Scott...He is reliable, available, returns calls timely and aggressively works towards resolving your case with minimal impact to you...as a previous client I can tell you, Scott was the right choice and would recommend him without hesitation

Scott Massen is a smooth talking and will take your money but will do nothing In return, it’s appers that he is in bad Financial trouble. He does not return calls and I was told that he doesn’t even work but will still try and take on clients so he can take a retainer. He has been indicted for fraud by grand jury and is trail is upcoming. I don’t think he even has an office any longer, he will offer to meet in a coffee shop. He is a true discrge to the legal community, I would suggest to Googel him before you think about hiring him, see all of the complaints he has against him not to mention his federal indictment for fraud. Stay clear of this guy.

SCOTT MAASEN IS THE WORSE ATTORNEY YOU CAN HIRE. HE DOES NOT DO ANYTHING. LOOK AT THE AZ BAR WEBSITE FOR THE VARIOUS COMPLAINTS HE HAS BEEN FOUND GUILTY OF. IF YOU WANT AN ATTORNEY THAT MISLEADS YOU, HIDES FROM YOUR CALLS THIS IS YOUR GUY. REALLY. JUST DO A GOOGLE SEARCH. HIS CRIMES WILL COME UP MORE THAN HIS SERVICES

I hired this law firm to handle me getting my rights restore from a felony conviction as well as getting the judgment set aside. I had paid the 799 retainer fee I was working with one attorney and when I hadn't heard anything and trying to get an update they advised me the attorney that was working with my case no longer worked there. They failed to contact me to inform of this information. I then was giving a new attorney. So after 3 rounds of sending in motions I was able to finally get my rights restored. I asked why my motions for getting judgment set aside kept getting denied they stated it was due to the judge having his own views regarding the crime. I further let my attorney know that what my plea was signed and accepted for was not the same thing that was pulling when employers ran a background check. The attorney kept blowing me off when I tried to get her speak with the courts regarding that advising her that is probably why I kept getting denied. And that if I wanted to file another set of motions to get aside they would need another payment of 799. Why would I pay another 799 when they weren't trying to resolve the issue for the wrong charge. I have been trying to get my charge set aside since 2011 and now that is still showing as incorrect I lost my current employment. I would never refer anyone to use this law firm. I have been able to file motions on my own and have gotten things resolved better than this law firm every did. Horrible service.

This guy and his firm are complete crooks. They never do what they claim, unless it is taking your money. I imagine he will have various bar complaints in the near future
