Damage was done during initial service call and now he won't fix what he broke [redacted] came to my house for an initial service call to fix the air conditioning. When he left he was paid and in a couple weeks it broke again. Another tech came out and said that [redacted] must have accidentally poked a hole in something and the hole was allowing freon to leak out. Not only is this environmentally unsafe but it was also very uncomfortable for my family during the hot months of summer. He came out 8-9 times through the summer to refcharge the freon and every time he would say we are gonna get this permanently fixed for you as soon as possible. Well when he came out to do that he told us everything was fixed. We turned our air on for the first time this year and it's not working again. I would really like if a person breaks something for them to just replace what they broke and be done with it. Desired SettlementI would like the problem fixed that he caused by poking a tiny hole in the piece that he poked the hole I and is causing the freon to leak out. Business Response I would like to take the opportunity to respond to this "complaint". I did originally replace their compressor under warranty with a labor and Freon charge only. Mr. [redacted] and his wife did pay immediately and we appreciated it. There was a small pin hole in the compressor fitting that was absolutely leaking caused by [redacted] sent us another compressor because of the factory defect and we installed it FOR FREE because we wanted to retain the customer and we felt it was not their fault. Mr. [redacted] called us to set up a service call and was scheduled for yesterday April 3, 2014. Due to the fact we are a smaller company when one or two calls don't go as planned we get behind schedule. We realize and apologize that we didn't inform Mr. [redacted] that we couldn't make it yesterday. It goes back to being a smaller more efficient company and we do not have 3 or 4 people sitting in an office making calls and schedules. I would also like to point out that we have already been to [redacted] the problem and nobody was at home. We found the unit to be full of freon but we are scheduled to return tomorrow April 5, 2014 at 2:00 PM. In closing I would like to also point out that we are NOT the 1st company they have been "dissatisfied" with. The company before us replaced an indoor coil due to Freon leaks and they "charged too much" and "it still leaked" (very familiar story) I have full intentions of repairing any problems we may have caused however if there are any other problems we will give Mr [redacted] a quote on repairs
