Review: For the past two years, the lawn mowing service of Scott and Sons has been terrible. The weed eater has chipped paint off my foundation. After telling this to the owner of the company, his solution was to install flower beds to make his employee's job easier. So, in other words, spend money to make his employee's job easier instead of addressing the issue. They consistently miss spots in the grass while hitting other spots so low that the grass has turned brown and has died. Recently, the grass around flower garden boarder grew so high due to week after week neglect in cutting, that the grass covered over the boarder. The result? The following week, the grass mower ran over the boarder damaging it. This week, the weed eater cut one of my pieces of flower garden boarder. So, the boarder which was installed to prevent damage has had damage inflicted upon it. After speaking with both the property manager as well as the owner of the company, I was told that "damage is going to happen." I do not accept that as an answer and am completely shocked that a business owner would respond in such a way. All of my damage has been documented in the form of photos. The missed spots grow so high, that they can become a haven for pests up to and including mosquitoes, snakes, rats, as well as other disease carrying animals/insects. Mosquitoes can carry diseases which include Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE), LaCrosse Encephalitis, and West Nile Virus. My wife's Autistic child is hypersensitive to insect bites. He can no longer enjoy playing outside due to the environment in the back yard caused by a neglectful lawn mowing service.Desired Settlement: My desired settlement includes both replacing the cost of boarder and paint, as well as Scott and Sons picking up the $91 cost of the service. In no way shape or form should I be responsible for paying for a service that is subpar and causes damage. The grass is cut so low in spots that I feel as though they are responsible for reseeding these spots. I also should not be responsible for paying to replace the damage property they have destroyed.

Business Response to a Complaint
I have meet numerous times with [redacted] about his complaint with the
chipping of the paint on his foundation and I have shown him and his wife that
the paint can be chipped off by your finger nail. The paint is not adhering to
the concrete footer. I have also tried to come up with ways to solve this
problem. He wont do them. He has said that the I am tring to make the job
easier for my employees, well not true it will take us as just long as long to
trim around house with or without the beds. I meet with the management company
and the homeowner on August 16 @ 11 am at which time he proceeding to show us
the area's around the trees we had missed trimming around, this was my first
time knowing of this. I had informed [redacted] that I would make sure this
didn't happen again and it has not. Also at this meeting I had told [redacted] that I would repair the broken edging around the one tree and his
responses was and I quote " don't worry about that I have a piece in my
garage." Finally I am not going to pay the $ 91.00 he has asked for this
whole ordeal is around the $ not the service.
