Good Morning, The customer was sold a fabric covered awning to cover the patio on his apartmentI was aware that he wanted to try to keep water off his patio, but, I also made a point to let him know that the fabric has to be sewn together, and while the fabric is water resistant, we cannot guarantee the fabric not to drip at the seams in rainy conditionsI did guarantee that we can prevent water from getting through where the frame connects to the wall at the front and back of the canopyWe sealed the awning well at both ends, and to my knowledge, it is not leaking at those spots The customer called in concerned about the dripping at the seams and the gentleman who answers the phones here in our office did mention that the only thing that can be done is seal the seamsHe was referring to a product used on camping tents to seal seams, but the type of seam and fabric are different on our awning and I'm not sure it would even workSealing seams is not something we do nor are the seams guaranteed not to drip water when it rainsThe only product I would use to seal the seam would be silicone caulking, but I cannot guarantee the looks of the sealantIt is a permanent application that cannot be reversed if he thinks it looks bad Arizona Awnings is committed to providing high quality custom awnings and want our customers to be happy with the productIf he wants us to use silicone sealant to cover the seams, I would be willing to do so to resolve the situationRespectfully,Arizona Awnings & Window Shade Systems Inc
