yes same happened to me $5899 got hold of my local ag and florida ag they will send them a letter scooter factory will ignore but at least there is a record of it
Duane Levandowski is a scoundrel. His claim that 10% of what he steals from people goes to charity is a *** in itself. He should be ashamed of himself. Now, we ordered a E-pod from him back in December 2018, that we paid $4,745.00 for, and have yet to receive it or get our money back. This man should be in prison given he has *** many people over the years to the extend of one client dying before she ever got to get her mode of transportation. This excuse of a man deserves to be arrested and punished by the military for falsely use them as a mean to con people all over the US. Duane works alone, and his business is nothing more than way of making money offering nothing but empty promises. Hope he gets what he deserves and what is coming for him.

Synopsis of the case:
1. I placed an order for E-pod mobility scooter and paid in full with credit card online on 12-27-18. The card
transaction processed through Wells Fargo on 12-31-18.
2. Received emailed receipt of purchase and link to customer account on 12-27-18. However account link was not valid and no customer account portal exists. Link opened browser to 'Terms & Conditions' page.
3. Attempted to request update and correct link to customer portal on 1-3-19 at ***@mobilitypluspro.com and
received failed email notification
4. Attempted to call customer service on 1-3-19 and got no answer
5. Used 'Chat' function on website https://mobilitypluspro.com on 1-3-19 which indicated that the 'Chat' was offline and an email would be sent instead.
6. Had a few emails back and forth resulting from 'Chat' function with *** "Mobility Man"
resulting in vague non-answers about the status of our order with the
last in the thread on 1-16-19
7. I called on X-XX-XX and got no response, so I emailed *** at ***@mobilitypluspro.com as well.
8. On X-XX-XX several emails were exchanged after I again tried to ask for an update and being blown off again, we demanded our money back
9. At the same time, *** started getting insulting and evasive saying it would take 6 weeks, he didn't have to
give all the money back, and calling me stubborn.
10. I began researching him (admittedly I should have done this first) and found that he was defrauding others that were posting on his Facebook page (he has since taken it down) and reporting to the Revdex.com.
11. We sent a demand letter from Loose Law Group on 3/18/19 but 8 months later we have no response.
*** has stolen almost $5,000 and is clearly running a scam.

I have NOT received a refund. The document *** provided indicated that a refund was given to a DIFFERENT customer who purchased the same scooter on 12/23/18. Our purchase was made on 12/27/18, so this is not the same case.
I have hired a lawyer and fully intend to *** if this issue is not resolved. I have also filed a police report for theft and a report to the internet crimes division of the FBI. I have copes of the bank statements that show the money was taken out and never put back on the account.

In the original complaint, mr *** stated he expected to receive his order in 3-5 days. The receipt he uploaded clearly shows a back order item.
Second, mr *** has been refunded in full by our credit card processor and his bank. We never challenged his dispute with the card company. Mr *** is not showing the documents where he was refunded and the money put back in the account.
All mr *** has to do is call his credit card company and they will refund him the money if In fact he is still owed it. Thank you.

*** still appears to be claiming that the document that he provided in response to this complaint was proof that I was refunded.
This was clearly for a DIFFERENT CUSTOMER with a DIFFERENT ORDER DATE (12/23/19 not 12/27/19) and a DIFFERENT ORDER NUMBER (2368 not 2372).
I have NOT received a refund! *** is lying and this is clear from the evidence I have submitted.
There are many, many other victims out there that are trying to get justice from ***, but he continues to lie, cheat, and steal.
He claims the item was "backordered", but I have already submitted images from his website taken when I ordered the E-pod and even the week after I placed my order that showed that there were 2 E-pods "in stock" indicating that delivery would only be 3-5 business days. It was false advertising that he was using to get people to place an order and then tell them he didn't have any in stock and they are on back order. He would then tell them that they would have to wait for 3-6 months instead of the 3-5 days indicated on his site. The bigger SCAM here is that after months of jerking people around, when they demand a refund, he just refuses, claims he already gave a refund when he didn't, or he will say that he doesn't have to refund the entire amount and claims he can keep 20% of their order per his "Terms and Conditions".
He took down his Facebook page, but before he did, I took screenshots of all the people who he victimized that were reporting his illegal activities on his Facebook page, demanding refunds, and preparing lawsuits. He also changed his website address earlier this year and doesn't respond to customers that he has stolen from. This is a SCAM and he needs to be stopped. I am pursuing all avenues of legal action and will continue working with the police and FBI to bring him to justice.
Seven months after buying a $4,000 scooter, I still have not received it.
I bought a scooter for my daughter on August 22, 2019 for $3,995.00. Today is March 31 and I still have not received it. Communication with the seller, ***, is horrible.

I requested another charger, because the one sent originally was broken with rattling pieces in the box! Therefore, after eight months of ordering the vehicle, we still can't operate it.

Unfortunately that is no longer an option. The mobility scooter comes fully charged and you were able to operate it to see there is no this wrong with the scooter. We are sending you a new charger as this is a warranty issue. We are handling this matter according to the terms and conditions you agreed and signed to at point of purchase. Mobility Plus Pro failed to deliver my product ordered after over 4 months and then does not want to refund all of my money to me that they took
On approximately August 16, 2018 I ordered a Mobility scooter for $3,995, several weeks went by and I had not received anything from Mobility Plus Pro indicating that the e-pod scooter I ordered was being shipped, I sent a message to Mobility Plus Pro and ask for an update as to when I could expect delivery of the E-Pod mobility scooter. I was told that it was on the way by one of their employees (Mobiliy Man) and it would be in port in a few days. After another two weeks I still heard nothing, I e mailed Mobility Plus Pro and I was told that the ship was in and they should be sending it to me soon. Another week went by after hearing nothing. I notified them again and was told by Mobility man that the people who were packing the scooters for delivery were taking their time. Another week went by and I contacted them again and was told that they were having a problem with the transporting firm and it should be resolved soon. Two more weeks went by and I ask them again when would I be receiving the E-Pod? I was told that the transportation issue had been resolved and he (Mobility Man) would make sure it went out in the next few days. Two more weeks went by and still nothing. I called them again to see what was going on and I was told by (Mobility Man) the scooter was not there and would I accept a different one? I told him no I didn't want a different one and wanted a refund. He (Mobility Man said I would receive a refund in accordance with their policy which was that they would take 20% of my money for processing fees and return the rest to me. I told them that was not acceptable the Contract should be Null and Void because they failed to honor their contract and I should receive 100% of what I paid back. I believe they are taking advantage of disabled veterans like myself and the general public
I want a refund of the $3,995 that they took from me, and not charging me 20% for processing a product that I ordered and never received. They continued to make excuses week after week and then month after month why I was not getting my order shipped to me.

I checked with my credit union and found that no refund had been added to my debit card in the amount of $3,995. Mobility Plus Pro has fabricated this untrue response to the Revdex.com. I never ask for Mobility Plus Pro to re-order another scooter, the original ordered scooter was never sent to them according to Mobility Plus Pro
The customers refund is in process and can take up to 6 weeks. The customer agreed to this as well as cancellation fees. We are processing according to our policy that the customer signed and agreed to at point of sale. Thank you.

In July 2018 I ordered and paid for an e pod mobility scooter for my dear friend a disabled veteran. A couple of weeks later when I wrote to ask when it would be sent, I was told that it was being built overseas. The next few months have been with assurances that the scooter was built and being shipped to Florida. They sent me a photo of the e pod scooters arriving and said it would be shipped "next week," this was in October. When "next week" came and went I called to find out what was happening. They said their custom's broker was being delayed with customs, and the fellow I talked to said he would find out what's going on and let me know. Since then, the company hasn't answered any of my emails or messages - I feel very abandoned.
