Please note that [redacted] no longer own the business. My name is Dr. [redacted] and I am the current owner of [redacted] - [redacted]. Since I became owner, our dealership has been dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and treating clients fairly.

response to this complaint, this client had a 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty that covers defects to the vehicle based on workmanship, faulty parts, etc. The limited warranty does not cover damage or issues with the vehicle due to operator error. The original warranty was mailed to the client's legal address in [redacted], which was on his driver's license.
In addition, his purchase provided him with 1-year of free roadside assistance from [redacted]. When the client contacted our dealership to complain of the issue he was having with the [redacted], it was determined by our service team that the scooter had been dropped. This is not something that would be covered under the manufacturer's warranty as it is an operator error, however we did get the scooter running at no charge to the client this time and also gave him a complimentary security chain lock for his troubles.
About 1 month later, in March 2014, the client contacted our dealership again to complain that there was an issue with the scooter once again. He stated that the bike was frozen and would not start. After our service team evaluated the scooter, and after questioning the client, it was determined that the client had been riding the scooter in extremely cold temperatures and snow, storing the bike outside with no protection and had dropped it once again. We let the client know that we would be happy to repair the scooter to good working condition, however there would be a charge for the service provided due to the fact that the problem with the scooter happened because he dropped it. He refused to pay for service to the scooter, therefore we did not provide any service.
He contact our dealership in April 2014 to see if we would give him his money back for the scooter. Because motor scooters are not toys and there are legal documents involved in the sale, all sales are final. This was clearly stated at the time of the vehicle purchase.
In response to his other complaint, we do not own or operate [redacted] and do not know about their policies for transporting vehicles. We also have nothing to do with a client's choice for personal storage.
Thank you for allowing us to respond to the complaint.
Sincerely,
Dr. [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because I never dropped the scooter on 2/21/14 when it left me stranded on [redacted] at a local gas station. I had a motor cycle owner also look at it while I was there & said I was sold a lemon. I also told [redacted] the sales rep NOT to send my warranty to [redacted] as I no longer lived there & gave her an alternate yet permanent address of mine. She said it would take a while to get the warranty - but I never thought it would take nearly a year!  Also, when I contacted [redacted] 3/31/14 - no-one ever offered nor even came to my aid to look at the scooter. I've been clearly sold a lemon&as far as protecting it-I do have an official cover for it & since I live on a 3rd Floor Apt-how was I supposed to take it up & down the stairs everyday? Finally for the record, where [redacted] is from in [redacted]-the weather is much more extreme than [redacted] with the [redacted] & [redacted] so if this was bona fide [redacted] made & in brand-new condition without defects - I wouldn't have had these issues with it.  I expect [redacted] to offer me some sort of settlement as I was clearly sold a lemon & I do have experience taking care of scooters before as this is actually my 2nd scooter I've owned(previously the owner of [redacted] that is now part of the [redacted] brand) Where is the record that my manufacturer's warranty was actually mailed to me?  There has to be a happy medium to be made here as I'm both myself & the new owner of [redacted] are reasonable people that can come to some sort of settlement?
Sincerely,
[redacted]

Review: I purchased a [redacted] exactly a year ago & it has been a disaster from the beginning! On the night of my purchase 2/20/14 - I was riding on [redacted] no more than 6 miles away & it broke down. I had to get a special tow truck as my individual [redacted] wouldn't cover the tow. When I contacted the store the next day -they refused to use my warranty but rather claim it was damaged by myself. I've had multiple incidents with this scooter including it freezing, not running, etc. Finally I had to relocate due to work; and I intended to ride it to the local [redacted] to ship it via train. No bueno! I was forced to put it into storage from 7/11/14 onwards where I'm paying over $55/month to store it! To add insult to injury, I've still yet to receive the Manufacturer's warranty a year later!Desired Settlement: I would like [redacted] to take back the Scooter and offer me a settlement or at least a replacement or fix my scooter which is sitting in storage collecting dust in [redacted] due to the fact that it's completely immobile and even if I were to get to a repair shop - I still never received my original warranty.
