Review: I purchased a $189 3 hour,3 person move from SCM movers via G[redacted] Feb 4, 2015. I called and set a confirmation date before purchasing. The day of the move I called the company after no one showed up for an hour and the manager told me that he didnt have enough people to make the move for me that day. After explaining to him that this is going to be a great hindrance to me because I need to be out of my other residence soon, he told me that I would be credited $150 visa card for my trouble and that a 3 man crew will be at my disposal for the next day at the same time. The crew came the next day and moved me in about 2 hours which should have encurred additional services or a discount considering I paid for 3 hours. The onsite move supervisor then confirmed to me via phone with the manager that I would be receiving the gift card via mail. I confirmed my address with him and the movers left. Two weeks past and I called the manager again. He assured me that the card was in the mail. It is now two weeks later than that, which is roughly over a month now. I simply want this company to fulfill the agreement which was made between the manager and myself. (A receipt of the [redacted] is available upon request)Desired Settlement: Although I was incovenienced by the change of date, the move was done therefore my complaint is of the agreement. As stated by the manager I am simply requesting that he hold up to the verbal agreement that was confirmed by his on site supervisor the day of the move. This agreement was for $150 [redacted] card for the hassle and I am requesting this in writing upon payment so that I do not have to take further action.
