ordered base rock for our driveway- been in our home 31 years-we live 3 acres in the back - so we have a long driveway and have to add base rock every couple of years- these 2 dump truck loads this year were just lime -no rock-- spread down driveway just like every other year-nice and hard till it rained- when my wife went out in the am -after a night of rain- sunk down at least 4 inches with her car- - didn't think she was going to make it to the end of the driveway- stayed wet and hard to drive on till it dried- then a lot of ruts - this has never happened in our 31 years of getting rock for our driveway- called company to come out - they checked it and said we put it down wrong- don't know that is possible after this many years doing it- think I know how to do it after this many times- what I feel the problem is - the loads had no rock at all - so when it rained it just turned to mush- don't feel I got what I paid for - and that is all I asked for is to get the base rock I paid for.
