1st I spoke with them this spring and went out and applied a product to strip the sealer off. sealer was applied to protect the concrete from salt and I agree was a little heavy on the front as I ran just a bit. have not heard from them. have they spoke with me or just tried
emailing. as far as I am concenrd final product looks good but if it needed more attention shouldnt somebody let me know and talk thru it with me. as far as the texture all outside concrete receives a broom finish to ad traction (if you POLISH it it would be as slick as your garage floor when wet or in winter. industry standard across the board. As far as I am concerned this a two ladies who will never be happy with anything. If you or them would like to talk about please call me. I am not a computer guy. TALK NOT HIDE BEHIND A COMPUTER ( people used to be able to do that)Also have been a Revdex.com member for how many years and look at my record, A+ rating and win super service award on angies list every year theres a reason.highly doubt anything will make them happy
I am rejecting this response because:
The response from Schumm Concrete is not satisfactory. What we expected this summer was based on an email from [redacted] Schumm received in November 2015Schumm Concrete Inc.<[email protected]>11/16/15We will have to come out and strip the sealer off. I will have to checkwith manufactures specs to see if we can do in these temps.I will be in touch in the next couple days.If temps do not permit we may have to do first thing in the spring.[redacted] SchummMaking The Hard Stuff....Easy!Schumm Concrete Inc.[redacted]Lakeville, MN 55044O ###-###-####C ###-###-####schummconcrete.comLike us on facebook!Angies List Super Service Award 2011/2012/2013/2014 Besides stripping the sealer off there are also several other options for Mr. Schumm to choose from: 1. Replace half of the stoop at his expense2. Remove the sealant with concrete sanding3. Refund our payment so that we can have someone else complete the job
I am not sure what I can do to appease the customer. I will have to re-visit the sight to see for my self how it looks now to see if I could come up with something that we could do to make them happy with the product
