It is truly unfortunate that I am writing a negative review
When we walked into the showroom I found it odd that no one greeted us We had made first contact on the internet We asked to talk to the person that ** from the internet had given us He was tied up and after some time we asked to talk to someone else
We worked with *** and he was very knowledgeable and friendly He helped us find what we were looking for within our budget After leaving the dealership and visiting two other dealers we decided to go back and lease the car from ***/Delray Motors Due to an emergency our salesman had to leave When we arrived back to the dealership the girl at the front was too busy playing on her phone to greet us She didn't even look up
However, *** had left us in the capable hands of another salesman, *** He really worked with us on our trade and getting us a reasonable offer to the table We were looking at inventory at other dealerships while the haggling was taking place I found several of the exact vehicles at another dealer I showed *** the site and the prices
He assured me that there was no way that could be the lease price Understanding that the pricing for leasing is different and it being our first time leasing I decided to give the other dealership a call The salesmen on the phone ACTUALLY did some footwork and told us that the price was an actual price, $less!!
Well of course I went back to the table to haggle some more My husband had taken over the phone call with the other dealership with his own questions At this point we were still ready to lease the vehicle from Delray Motors They were adding some nice things like free oil changes, free carwashes and detailing, roadside assistance, free rental if we needed service, etc
That's when *** came in to get things moving He congratulated me on our new car I said not quite yet That's when things turned UGLY fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*** then proceeded to inquire as to why we had not signed the deal that was on the table I was told that a handshake had been done and basically that means "done deal"
I walked out of *** office toward my husband and was immediately followed by a very irate *** He proceeded to tell (yell) me that he was keeping everybody around to finish our deal The dealership closed a pmit was 8:pm
I told him to stop talking to me and that he was being really aggressive by yelling at me Just a quick hintyelling is not a way to close a deal Long story short my husband came over to see what was going on I told *** to stop yelling at me in front of my children We picked up the contract off the desk and left Girl at front desk still playing on phone I'll spare you the painful details of the other salesmen trying to come to ***'s defense and save the deal for poor *** who was pretty much just sitting there with a "what the heck just happened" look on his face
Someone who is a "manager" should know better than to *** of the wife
Even though the other dealership was going to be closing at pm they told us that they would wait if we came down Well it was a fantastic experience from start to finish We also got a lot more car for quiet a bit less Drove away with the same make just a nicer model
I purchased a used Chrysler from Schumacher about a month agowithin miles of driving it, the car was stalling frequently and riding very roughI took it straight to Schumacher to get the issue diagnosedThe technician who I dealt with told me that the issue was due to my key fob battery being low, and suggested I should change the batterySo I went ahead and did so but the problem still persistedI attempted to make an appointment with the Schumacher dealership, but had great difficultyI left a total of voice mails between the service department, used car office, and my salesman's cell phoneI also emailed the salesman multiple times and have not recieved a replyJust when I was about to go to a different dealership, the service department from Schumacher kindly returned one of my voice mails to schedule an appointmentI dropped off my car on a Thursday, and did not hear anything from them until Monday after I had to reach out to the service departmentThe technician claimed they could not replicate the issue I was having, but they were not giving up and promised me a loaner car in the mean timeI drove over an hour to the dealership to pick up the loaner car, however once I got to the dealership I was informed that there was no loaner waiting for me and it was too late in the day to pick one upI called the technician back the following day to check in on the progress, and I was told that they ran more "tests" but could not find any issues, they were going to "open a case with Chrysler" to see what they had to say about my car problemsI did not hear from them for the remainder of the week and called in the following Monday, days after I initial dropped off the carWhen I called I was told that there was nothing else they could do with the car and no case would be opened with ChryslerAs frustrated as I was I drove down to the dealership that afternoon to get my carI asked for paper work to see what "tests" they performed on the carThe only "test" they performed was a test drive to try and replicate the stalling and riding rough issueI left the dealership very frustrated and decided I would take my business elsewhereWithin two miles of leaving the dealership my car stalled and the check engine light came onI would not recommend this dealership to ANYONE, extremely poor customer service and I question their competency
The service department is PATHETIC. My vehicle broke down on a monday and I called to have it towed in. They said they would look at that afternoon. They did not look at it until friday and charged me for a rental vehicle for those 5 days it sat there doing nothing. Then they would not cover the repair under warranty. This is a 2015 vehicle and there should not have been any question that it was a warranty repair. I had it towed out of there to a much better, reputable dealership. HIGHLY ADVICE TO NEVER USE FOR SERVICE!!!!
