"To Whom it May Concern,While [redacted] had her vehicle in for service, we called a third party rental company, [redacted] Rental, to meet her at our dealership, since we do not have rental or loaner vehiclesThe third party rental agency has no affiliation with the dealership; we are separate companies [redacted] Rental does not allow our employees to check out customers, check in vehicles, or be a part of any of their business processesOnly employees of their company can perform these duties[redacted] met with an [redacted] representative to get her rental vehicleI have enclosed the rental contract that she signed with themThe contract also shows her acknowledgment that there was no damage to the vehicle when she took itI was told by the [redacted] Rental agent that they do the walk around with the customer prior to the customer taking the vehicle[redacted] returned the vehicle the same dayWe do not check in vehicles for the rental company when they are returnedAs stated above, they do not want us a part of that processWe only take the keys and write down the date in which it was returned [redacted] has been posting on social media and giving the impression to the public that our service advisor declined her request to check in the vehicle [redacted] in fact did not specifically request thaht he go out and check the vehicle in with herIf that had been her specific request, he would have been able to explain that we do not check in the vehicles and only the rental company has the authority to do so[redacted] told us that they checked in the vehicle on Monday and at that time there was a crack in the windshieldWhen the agency checked in the vehicle, it was parked exactly where she had left it on FridayAccording to their policies, they notified her and she agreed to make a claim with her insurance companyWe wre not aware of any of thus until after the rental agency contacted her.When I first spoke to the rental agent, he had no idea that there was any problem or dispute [redacted] had not brought her concern to the Agency in which she signed the contract withShe should be speaking with the rental agency about her disputeOur dealership has not asked anything of her; it is the rental agency that is asking her to make the claim [redacted] opened a claim with her insurance, did not dispute it with the rental agency, and then has been claiming on social media that Schmelz Countryside is taking advantage of her.Several employees of the dealership have urged [redacted] through phone calls and e-mail to bring her concerns up to the rental agencyShe clearly understands and has acknowledged that they are a separate company and we do not have effect on their decisions, however, she has made it very clear in emails and over the phone that she is going to continue what she is doing and intends to ruin our reputation.Enclosed is the rental agreement that the rental agency has shared with meI am enclosing her email statements with her intentions and her facebook and google postsShe has contacted VW as she stated she would and they have responded back that she should be speaking with the rental agencyI do not understand why she will not communicate her concerns to the business that she needs to be speaking with and instead is on a mission to ruin our reputationWe were sincerely trying to provide a service to her and make the experience of vehicle repairs easier to deal with.?
