Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/07/28) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] , Pres. Contact Phone: XXX XXX-XXXX Contact Email: [redacted] @schilliplastering.com The context of this complaint is overly exaggerated as we did protect the deck during the plastering process. We... hydro-blasted the pool with water and the deck had nothing more than white water at most on the deck surface. We had the installer of the deck coating out to visit the site and she said it was nothing more than the seal coating needing to be replaced. We tried to address the problem last fall, but weather caught up to us after we had cleaned the deck to be resealed and the resealing never was completed. Bottom line, there is no damage to the deck surface other than the sealer needing to be redone. Unfortunately the weather has been an issue with us again this year and the sealer cannot be installed when there is rain predicted and there hasn't been a week all year that we haven't had rain predicted at least every other day or every third day. We want to be able to do this sealer with ideal conditions and that has not happened so far this year. We stated the life expectancy of this pool finish product was 15 to 20 years, has nothing to do with deck movement or other outside sources having an effect on the finish. I will contact the deck coating company and set up a scheduled date to clean and reseal the deck as soon as the are available and will set up a time to visit with customer to view alleged cracking issue.
