This is an unfortunate complaint and really could have been worked out by other meansDrAutoSpa has been providing professional detailing services since Honestly can't say we have had to deal with a situation like this before Let's clear up some misunderstandings The husband brought his wife's vehicle by for a look an estimate Apparently, the wife had taken her SUV to an automated car wash and the hot wax sprayed on the car left a rough texture to the hood and roof We recommended the vehicle be hand washed, clay the paint and hand wax There apparently must have been some misunderstanding as to whom would perform the detail Like many businesses, the business owner cannot always perform all the work so they rely on their trained staff to perform the work Along with such comes the risk with employees not performing to the high standards set forth by the business Had I had the personal opportunity to inspect this vehicle prior to releasing it back to the client, we would have quickly realized more work needed to be performed to the hood The work needed wasn't as simple as the owner makes it soundWith overspray on the paint like this, several steps are often needed to remove it completely It is unfortunate and quite embarrassing that our staff scheduled to perform the detail did not perform the job correctly The owner picked up their vehicle prior to my arrival from an offsite job We just missed each other by minutesAnyways, our shop manager informed me the husband picked up the vehicle but was not happy with the service Our shop manager offered to immediately address and remedy the situation; however, the husband declined at that time but said he would bring it back so we could fix it Before I could contact the husband to learn more and quickly address the situation, I received a rude call from the wife At first, she came across very nice I apologized the work had not been done to my standards and offered my personal assistance to quickly remedy the situation Understandably, the wife was upset and I would have been as well; however, instead of giving us the opportunity to correct our mistake, the owner was quite adamant about getting her money back My response was that after we looked at her vehicle again to fix the problem and if we could not fix it, we would gladly return her money Unfortunately, the wife resulted in more hostel argumentative style conversations that wasn't going anywhere and simply wasn't fixing the real concern which was remove the surface contaminants from her hood and roof The wife doesn't need to spend anymore money with us or someone else to fix this problem All we need is the opportunity to make it right! No need to spend $with someone else when she has already paid us $for the service Based on industry pricing for this line of work, $was a very good price for this service I sincerely apologize our staff misdiagnosed the concern and we have made every effort possible to correct our mistake Not really sure what else we can do at this point DrAutoSpa is fully committed to the work we perform and if a client is ever unsatisfied, we take if very seriously With the owners current stance, it is difficult to correct our mistake for her; however, this situation has been taken very seriously and recourse action will be taken against our employee responsible for this poor service
Thank you Revdex.com for notifying us about this concern It's nice to know a business has the opportunity to reply andexplain their side of the storyA few days ago, the husband brought their vehicle by our new shop for examination The wife had used an automated carwash
and the hot wax made the front hood and roof rough feelingIt was recommended the vehicle be clayed to help restore the slicknessAn appointment was made and the car was dropped off for serviceUnfortunately, one of our employees misinterpreted the work required to remedy the situationAlthough our business is years strong with a great review history, our shop location is new with new employeesThe employee assigned to this repair made a genuine mistakeUpon identifying this mistake, we offerred our immediate attention to remedy the situationOur new shop manager apologized, offered a discount, offered to stay over to correct right away but client would not allow us toOffered to schedule for next morning but client refused Client spoke to owner whom also apologized and offered his personal experience of years to correct the mistake for free but the wife refused She only seemed to want her money backThere was no chaneed for us to fix our mistakeWe are sincerely sorry this happened and once we found out we tried to remedy itWe are human and make mistakes sometimes like all of us do and when we do we take it very seriously to remedy the situation It is unfortunate this client chose not from us to fix it for freeWe are happy to do so. Unfortunately a misdiagnoses was performed upon this clients car; however, once identified, we immediately agreed to correct our mistake

At this time, I have been contacted directly by 10 Hands LLC regarding complaint ID 10607083, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The business owner sent me several emails accusing me of impersonating his business to set up a profile on his business on the Revdex.com...
website. I called the Revdex.com and spoke to Craig twice to confirm that I had not inadvertently done this when I submitted my complaint against his business online. The business owner repeatedly threatened to sue me for slander and defamation and impersonating his business, so I responded to him informing him I had spoken to the Revdex.com who verified my complaint was submitted correctly and that I had not done anything wrong. I have not heard from him since that email (May 14, 2015). Also I received a quote from a recommended contractor to remove the shutter hardware, use a wire brush to remove the rust, paint with a special anti-rust primer and paint. The quote was $1300. If the business owner of 10 Hands LLC will refund me $1300 of the money I paid to him (nearly $5000) so that I can have his poor work remedied, I would consider the complaint resolved. Originally I would have been happy for 10 Hands to come back and fix the problem, but given his repeated angry emails to me, I feel afraid of him and do not want him near my house again. Please contact me if you need further information. Thank you very much.
