Hello, I am writing this letter to you in response to a complaint on my company. I signed an agreement with [redacted] a few months ago to complete some insurance work that had occurred to her home. The scope of work was siding, roofing, and gutters. We started...
the project shortly after by completing the siding work while we waiting on the remainder of the payments from the insurance company. While this process was taking place, some personal issues came up with on my side. I agree that communication should of been better but we still hadn't received funds to proceed. The amount allotted by the original deposit wasn't enough to finish the full job, so waiting on the funds was crucial for the work to be completed. When I had contacted the insurance company for the invoicing, I was advised that all payments were sent out and cashed. Further review from people associated with this client led me to believe that she had spent the money on medical bills and other expenses. Keep in mind, I have worked for a number of her neighbors in this subdivision. All of these clients paid me what was needed to complete their claims and they are COMPLETED to date, In a prompt manner! I do plan to reach out to this client and get the roofing completed when the weather in warmer. When and if she has the remainder of the funds, I will complete the garage door and the gutters.
