we discover it was not recordingThe cameras worked, but it was not recordingWe went to the DVR that covered the campers and found when the camper was stolen and the kind of vehicle that was usedWhen asked about the other cameras, we informed the customer of the problem and that we were going to send it to a specialist to see if they could retrieve anything from the hard driveWhich later we found out they couldn'tThe key pad log in numbers do work, but are not tied into the computer to see who entersThe customers stood in the recording room as we copied and gave them the flash drive of the eventI even took a walk and had a casual conversation with the husband why they would steal theirs when the brand new one next to theirs didn't even have a hitch lock on it.When a customer applies to park their equipment on our property, I advise them to use the best stainless-steel lock on their hitch and log chain the tire to the frame with another stainless-steel lockAlso, to take their battery out and put a note on the window saying all electronics and valuables have been removed.We also have a contract that states in item three that the tenant is to be responsible to have insurance coverage in case of any kind of loss or damageI will send the customers signed and initialed copy with this letter.Sincerely Yours, A Westside Storage
