I own two businesses and previously ordered certificates for my business through SCCI received the request form I called and spoke with woman that explained what it was used for and it was optional and not mandatoryShe even helped with some questions and gave me the phone number to get the answers I needed it for my LLCI understand I could have paid less I did enjoy speaking with her and she was friendly and helpfulI received my certificates in the days I was told as well as my business detail reportI saw alot of negative responses here but you have to read the letterIt states not government agency and you may obtain certificate with state agenciesPlease read before you damage a business

Okay, I get it. They are charging more than I could have paid buying my certificate directly. Maybe I should have done that. That being said, I got what I paid for, and sooner than expected. Their phone reps answered my questions politely. I really can't complain.

From my experience, SCC is a fraudulent "business" who preys upon new business owners, scamming them out of $88. The business does not get any certificate, while SCC collects the money. Thankfully they did not get my bank account info as I used Paypal & filed a dispute/claim. Lesson learned as NO documents should be more than $20 in the state of Tennessee.
