Dear *** ***, I apologize for the actions of my employee and have no explanation for the action taken other than the fact that our employee does not understand our sales procedures. You are correct that if you are told a price at the point of sale, the transaction is concluded once it's
paid for. If we made a mistake then it's on us and we eat the differenceConversely, if the mistake is in the customers favor, and we can identify the customer we will refund the over payment. We have no right to access anybodies account unless authorized and in this case it appears that wasn't done. I apologize very much for the problem and if you could please contact me personally next week, anytime after Tuesday, I would like to discuss a credit for your purchase. I am very sorry for the incident and the employee will be re-educated as to the sales policy's of Scappoose Sand & Gravel. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
