We have been waiting exactly one year for our project to be completed as per our contract of January 14, 2017 with work beginning on October 26, 2017. Our last VM sent to the company almost one month ago has gone unanswered. Masterscapellc was to clean and seal the stone of the steps they constructed on our home. We made the mistake of paying in full before we were completely satisfied with the work as we had left for vacation. We have been patient and understanding of their reason for the delay which is that they are "very busy". In our opinion, that is not an excuse that would or should account for a year's delay
In a phone discussion with Revdex.com staff (LST) the company said the consumer never signed the original estimate and did not contact them to approve the job until July of 2017. At that time the company said they can do the project by the end of the year. The work was later started and completed in October 2017. When contacted by the consumer, the company later returned to finish some tuckpointing near a sandstone tread cap. Company had agreed to and did perform a power wash of the job but at no time did they say they would provide free sealcoating.
Apparently there was a misunderstanding as to what "powerwashing and chemical restoration" means, which appears on our contract signed by Jim. We believed that to mean the company would powerwash and seal the stone because on at least one occasion, Jim verbally promised the stone would be cleaned and sealed. Also, Brian, the last worker here who did the final tuck pointing on 9/27/18, told us he would return to pick up the 50-60 pounds of hardened left over mortar, spot clean the stone and seal it. That promise is why we called the company a month ago and left a VM. At this point, we want nothing more from the company other than to make sure our experience in on the record. Being true to one's word is important to us.
