I know that Mr. Scales knows which apartment and who the complaint was made by, because he came over to look at the apartment a few days after the complaint was made. Then a couple of days after that, I got a letter in the mail telling me that my rent was going to be increased $50/month.
Mr. Scales now has the building up for sale (my guess is he doesn't want to have to pay for repairs).
